The first day we tried to eat here it was full, so booked for the next day with an English speaker. The next day no-one spoke English or French and they didn't seem interested in helping so we muddled through with a bit of help from Google and ended up with a very good meal indeed. The service picked up... More

Popped in for a drink and small sandwich. When you walk in looks slightly funky. Don't be put out. Not sandwiches from the bar are Huge, and delicious. Lomo and bacon is a winner. Large formal sitdown dining in the back.

If you want an inexpensive, delicious experience for lunch in Vitoria this is a must do. The bocadillos (sandwiches) are the best I have ever eaten, they are more than a sandwich, taks my word for it amd try them for lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed!

El 7 is in a very popular street, Cuchilleria street in the old town of the city. The quality of the food is very good and the prices are good, especially the ones of the afternoon menu during the week. On weekends, the afternoon menu is a little bit more expensive. Different kind of "bocadillos", including especial ones for vegetarians,... More

We enjoyed an excellent lunch in this busy restaurant. Staff were very obliging in explaining the menu and when my wife's entrecote arrived with an unlisted cream sauce, to which she is allergic, rather than just transfer it to a new plate without sauce as requested they insisted on serving a freshly cooked steak.

A safe bet. Large portions, plenty of choice, good quality food in a great location. There is a set menu for lunch and in the evenings they do "bocadillos"- baguettes with a million fillings to choose from.

I live overseas and have always enjoyed returning to El 7. Great affordable food for lunch and dinner, and great place to go on your own, with a mate or a few mates and enjoy food accompanied with cheap beer, wine and other drinks. I always take mates from all over the country and overseas and they always remember this... More

The famous bar El Siete, quite a legend in Vitoria-Gasteiz for its sandwiches. We have eaten a sandwich last week and now they also have sandwiches without gluten which is good news for al celiac patients.

Apart from the delicious variety of 'bocadillo' (filled baguettes), the fried potatoe chunks with both the tomatoe/red pepper sauce and the garlic mayonnaise go down very well (rather too quickly!) with a nice cold beer. The service is very good even when the place is very busy.
