We’d walked around the old town up to the cathedral and stopped at this very colourful bar and restaurant for a drink. Staff were extremely polite and welcoming. Service was good. The decor was very colourful with brightly painted tales and chairs. A lovely place...to watch the world go by.More

Great cannelloni and steak, friendly staff and stylish decor. In beautiful Ibiza old town. A little slow for the food to be served but worth the wait.

I recently came here for a birthday meal with 11 friends and we had the best evening. The service was absolutely amazing, they were so attentive. The food is delicious and really reasonably priced. Gorgeous setting. My partner had contacted the restaurant ahead of my...visit and ordered a few bottles of champagne and all the staff from the restaurant came out singing happy birthday and made me feel so special. I loved it! Amazing place, will definitely return.More

Poor value for money, terrible kids menu and poor overly expensive wine list full of French wine, feels like a tourist trap, much better options than this and wouldn’t return or recommend

What a fabulous restaurant and fantastic staff. It’s incredibly busy and tables are close together so booking is essential! The menu is great, the Gazpacho and Sea Bass Ceviche were sublime. We had the most brilliant waitress, beautiful French lady, whose name I forgot to...get, thanks for a great evening.More

The location is beautiful, although my wife and I chose to eat when it wasn’t overly crowded. Now the prices are high, which would be fine but genuinely don’t feel they reflected the food or service. The people serving felt like they couldn’t wait to...finish, also took us a LONG time just to be sat down. The food was nice don’t get me wrong, but I don’t feel like the portion sizes reflected the price. There was quite a bit missing from the menu too, which can’t be helped at the end of the season I guess. Wouldn’t eat here again, more for show than it is for genuinely good food and service. Sorry guys!More

Attended her mid-September with my partner. The setting is beautiful within the old town in Ibiza. It was extremely busy at the time we went (2130hrs) and we were sat in between to other tables of two and there must have been no more than...3 inches between tables! But that was expected and it almost added to the atmosphere. The food was absolutely Devine, fine dining with a menu to match. What let it down is the service we received. We had our main and when it was cleared, we didn’t even get offered the dessert menu. Then we paid the bill and got a backhanded thank you before we left. I appreciate the staff were very busy, but don’t offer as many tables if you treat customers like a burden. Lovely food, service let it down and won’t be back.More

We chose El Olive Mio due to its location and frequent mentions in Ibiza restaurant guides. Its set in a bustling cobbled street in the old town - a picture perfect setting. In short our advice would be to go this area but avoid this...place. It’s everything that’s wrong about exploiting tourists. Don’t believe the hype. At 10 pm it was like a zoo. Tables full of empty plates, people waiting to order. Glasses empty. People waiting to pay. Basically too many tables but not enough staff. We were sat in a table for three that was barely big enough for one. Felt like we were sitting in top of the table beside us. A pole beside the table prevented one seat from moving at all. After waiting for 15 minutes we got moved to a table which was maybe a 10% improvement in space. After another 15 minutes without even being offered a drink we left. The place across the road (Bonitos) was much more genuine with staff who cared and enough kitchen/bar capacity to look after guests. The meal was decent and served quickly. Much more authentic Spain. El Olivo Mio is over rated, over booked and under staffed in peak season. Don’t give them your money. They don’t deserve it and they couldn’t care less if you don’t come back.More

I’d happily give them zero stars if I could … where do I start: We ordered pasta and fish dish. My partner received his fish - he got salmon- not what he wanted but was ok. Pretty average, not great for that price for sure....I received pasta with pesto. Pasta was served to me cold and hard. I mean … if you can’t make simple pasta then you’re really not a good restaurant. I have told the waitress politely that I don’t like it and I don’t want it, she then took the dish from me rudely and didn’t offer me replacement or another meal. She said instead that if I I DONT PAY FOR IT SHE WILL CALL THE POLICE. I told her sure, call them because how can anyone force me to eat crappy food? Police arrived, it was so embarrassing for the waitress, every guest around us was saying to us we are right not to back down and even police man apologised to us. The waitress then started cursing at us, let us pay the rest of the bill (she lied to the police telling them we refused to pay at all) and we left. Disgusting behaviour, disgusting customer service. What a disappointment.More
