Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Certainly not a thouroughbred racehorse experience. We were a party of 6, 4 had pasta, 1 burger and unfortunately for me I did mixed grill fish platter, which you’d sort of think should be one of their best dishes? We ordered some tapas starters, but...they just brought everything in one go, which was annoying. The pasta seemed to get best marks, but the burger was one to avoid and I don’t think the chef knew how to grill fish, it was seared really hard on the outside, but the fish in the middle was watery and uncooked. (I don’t even want to think too long about the scallops, tried half of one and ditched the others - they were a night over the bog waiting to happen) It was eye wateringly expensive tipping in over 400 euros and as we didn’t drink wine, just beers and soft drinks, I’d say it was shocking value. I’d probably give it less marks, but the staff were good and the others liked their pasta. Taxis from Salines are also a Odín in the arse and a total lottery! Probably a first and last for me and I don’t think I’d bother going again.More

Lovely beach restaurant, good value for money. Located on las Salinas beach, can be very crowded so book in advance. Very nice and friendly staff, great food.

Ordered a 27 euros burger expecting a delicious juicy one, instead it was a dry and chewy one - one that comes from a box of frozen burgers bought from the supermarket. The surrounding beach is beautiful and they are lucky to have a restaurant...there but they are clearly taking advantage of the fact that there are no other restaurants nearby. Please do not support these kind of businesses.More

Jockey Club is an institution - great setting and good food. Sadly often not as relaxed and friendly as it used to be. The vibe is still there sometimes, close to sundown, but more often than not it feels impersonal, snobbish, a money machine. Expensive.

The worst customer experience in Ibiza island, my wife and me requested a coffe to check the menu, before reading the different options the waitress picked up our coffees without finishing…. Bad taste… and 8€ for a even medium coffe…. I’d prefer to find another...one, i can imagine the rest…More

We have never missed to go there in the past 20 years - but now it's off our favorite list. It's always been a place for the rich and beautiful but used to be relaxed and welcoming to normal people too. Now atmosphere is tense,...reception cool (and we did not look cheap...), the place empty at 1215 but every table "reservado" to be able to keep undesired people out. We had a quick coffee, skipped lunch and fled. Might still be good food and a nice setting but we are happy to leave to all others to try. Good luck!More

Excellent place. Staff are so friendly and very good English. The vibe there is so chilled it’s lovely. Great music. We went for dinner but I reckon it’s more of a day place, go to the beach then there for lunch but we still loved...it and enjoyed it very much. The food was delicious. I had the salmon tartare which was bang on! And my boyfriend had the prawns which he will not stop going on how amazing they were and he’d eat them everyday!! Drinks were lovely. Reasonable price. Beautiful view on the beach, definitely worth going, great value for money, just a proper great place to go!More

Not sure what else you’d want from a beach bar restaurant. Lovely food, good service and an amazing view of the sea. Prices might seem expensive but the food is good and worth it. This year I thought the food was better and overall we...loved it. Would recommend the Buratta!More

Not as good as it looked like. Ibiza/high prices for just normal food with normal service. Nothing fancy or special as the portions are small and expensive. Tasty but not for the asked price. No fancy interior or anything. Beach is rocky at most places...and water is dirty because of the high waves. Would not put this beach club and beach on my Ibiza to-do list.More

Really great food - the tuna tartare, seabass and seafood platter were the highlights. Good wine list too. Great location right next to Salinas beach.

Gorgeous view, open air eating. It gets busy so you need to book. The restaurants is very loud, so ask for a quieter area if you don’t like too much bustle. The food was amazing and a nice choice of juices. Not a huge vegetarian...choice. Our waiter was efficient but very rude. We greeted him really politely and warmly and he was curt and didn’t look at us. The beach in front of the restaurant is very busy but the water is lovely and was one of the few places we went that wasn’t full of seaweed. Arriving by car you have to walk through sand to get to the restaurant. (Worth remembering if you go there with suitcases before heading to the airport as we did). There are showers at the restaurant.More

I have asked a coisse t and a tea. The waitress was awful, very nervous and offensive. I have received a croissant an waited 15 min for the tea . My tea was brought to an other table so I called the waitress to tell...her the was for me and she told to stay seated that we are not in Mac Donald. Actually the service at McDonald’s Donald is better . Never experienced something like that everywhere elseMore

There are not enough words to describe how good and pleasant this traditional Ibizenco chiringito is. Where to start: The food menu is always great with a number of plates to make happy the biggest number of people. The food has always has superior quality...made with fresh ingredients and always tasty. I have been lucky enough to try a number of plates there and I have been happily surprised time after time from traditional tapas like Gambas Al Ajillo to much more sophisticated plates such as the Fresh Tuna tartar etc. Furthermore Jockey's wine list is quite extensive with a great choices of Spanish and international wines and their cocktails is what you need for a warm day on Ses Salines beach or during the evening when the sun goes down (and you find yourself still at the bar not wanting to leave). Finally, Jockey has been in the past - talking before COVID - one of the most brilliant places musically inviting DJs to play live set and defining what Beach Party is since 1993. From all the Beach clubs in Ses Salines I would say Jockey is the best by far and a Must Visit once there. Now be smart and call them in order to guarantee a table with sea views or alternatively visit them early once settling on the beach and let them know you would like to eat there.More

We went to jockey club on saturday. We called them earlier that month to make a reservation. They explained to us that they did not do any reservations so we had to go to the beach early. We arrived at 09:30 while almost all beds...were empty. The two guys who arrange everything at the beach were telling us they were fully booked and all beds were for reservations. After we arrived another couple without reservation got a bed. I asked them why but they could not give me any reason. They were very rude and above af all racist in a next level. Will never ever go here again. Typical ibiza vibe where you only get good service when it looks like you have a lot of money!More

Second time we visit Jockey Club. And again, we had a great time! We also took a big sunbed with umbrella (30€!). Ordered some drinks. Had lunch which was great! Menu for kids available. Always a pleasure coming here. We come back next year!
