Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We came to Abaco for a drink without a reservation. The music inside was a bit loud but apart from that, the cocktail was delicious and the ambience inside was very cool. The outdoor area looked stunning but was very busy so I think if...you wanted a space outside or to eat there, you need to book in advance.More

There is no better location for a pre dinner drink in the most extraordinary environment with an eighteenth century vibe and contemporary cocktails. Good for small groups of friends.

We found this bar, when we met a lovely couple watching the sun go down, who told us how captivating and mesmerising the oldest cocktail bar was in Palma, so we went with them. Honestly I was so emotional when I walked through the door,...there are no words to describe what you will see here. A couple of days later we also returned and Jimmy and Sandiago (sorry if ive spelt that wrong) you guys had us laughing so much! Don’t listen to the negative reviews, the staff simply try to stop tourists walking around taking photos and not buying a drink, honestly to walk around a place like this would cost you the price of a drink at least in the UK. We will never forget you and this amazing venue and truly wish to see you all again. All the best to you!More

Was hesitant on reading reviews - last visited a very long time ago but still remembered as truly unique. This visit - short queue to enter when opened. Table in courtyard, drinks fine - cocktails €17 but glass of wine or beer much less ....One cocktail arrived with waiter also bearing bottle of Smirnoff which he poured into glass until asked to stop - no shortage of alcohol in that one. Waiters mostly old school gentlemen- saw no signs of rudeness - on contrary they seemed quite charming and efficient. Went inside for a good look around - upstairs also not to be missed - like being in an opulent home - so very glad I came back.More

It's definitely worth a trip just to see the decor....but that is about it. The Maitre D, waiters/bar staff were very, very Rude....I paid 18 Euro for basically what were a glass of prosecco with a strawberry in it. It wasn't a nice atmosphere, we had...one drink and left to go to a bar where our custom was at least appreciated and we weren't stood at the bar 15mins been ignored.More

For all the hype the place gets, it fails to deliver a good tasting cocktail. We tried the Cosmopolitan and it only taste like vodka. My girlfriend had the gin fizz and from the one sip I could manage it was only lemon and nothing...elseMore

Went for the Flamenco show but decided to have dinner in the restaurant first. First class food and service, highly recommend it for food. The atmosphere was also very lovely.

Saturday night, cocktails in a bar that breaks every rule except the best one... the Bloody Mary is spot on. It was lemony, spicy, big. Although it was €17 it felt worth it. Locals and tourists mixed. The decor is worth the price. Somewhere between...a church and a barn. Bombastic classical music playing out. Huge vases of flowers, fresh fruit displayed and none of the staff are under 50. All wear Cumubunds. It's a sensory overwhelm in the best way. It only missed the phantom of the opera stepping out of the shadows. The toilets are... unique; the women's was apparently lovely. The gents was a little eerie. The menu is traditional. These are old school cocktails in an d school setting. The whole experienced. Worth the money and great way to start the night.More

I won't talk about the service because obviously they do not care that we are there (our waiter didn't ever look at us when we were ordering) but the ambiance, atmosphère, bird signing, and the cocktail were outstanding. I highly recommend this place just for...the experience, and don't forget to take a look at the 2nd floor!More

Awful, very quirky but staff member that dealt with us was so rude, hadn’t managed to look at drinks menu when he came to take our order so he took the menus away and said ‘no drinks’ and basically told us to leave.. very expensive...but they must get a lot of people just going in to check it out and try and take a photo or two although photos are also forbidden. Worst experience from our friends trip to palma city. AwfulMore

The staff were so incredibly rude! We weren't given time to pick a drink, so they took the menus off us and threw us out! It's quirky but we wanted to chill over a nice drink, not be harassed out of the place. Very expensive...too €17 for a gin and tonicMore
