Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Delicious food, buzzy atmosphere, great service. Place is very popular and booking is a must. Love the bar seating… get a great view of your food being cooked. The head chef was a very calming influence on his team.

Highly recommend. Sat at a table as was 4 of us but if you’re a couple I’d suggest the bar best. Food and service outstanding and an absolute must if you’re in Palma

No matter what you decide to order at this local hot spot, you will not be disappointed. Hands down, one of my favorite restaurants to dine at. The zucchini flower with goat cheese is a must if you’re coming here. Make sure you book a...table some weeks in advance, as this place is always packed - for good reasons!More

This was our first visit to El Camino but hopefully not our last. We were booked onto the 7.45pm sitting and were seated up at the bar (which is absolutely the best place to sit). The service was impeccable and the food delicious. It was...great to watch the busy and efficient team all working hard to produce the wonderful dishes. The courgette flower with goats cheese and the jamon croquettes were particular favourites. I can't remember the name of our wonderful server, but she was so helpful and friendly, it made the whole experience really special. She also poured a terrific gin and tonic! This is a place to put top of your list for tapas if you are visiting Palma.More

Amazing service by the lady at end of the bar, she was outstanding. Food incredible as usual, however the bill was a bit punchy this time round. We’ll be back in April for the special table.

First the good bit, El Camino has a unique atmosphere centered around the very long food bar where diners line up and watch most of their food being cooked. The bad bit is that the food isn’t as good as it should be and costs...a lot. You are paying for the trendy vibe here not the food. In many ways Camino is a victim of its own success, a couple of years ago you could book a place at the bar at the time you wanted with maybe 2 or 3 days notice. Now, even in February, it’s more like 2 or 3 weeks. It’s become a tourist trap, a vacuum for dollars, euros pounds and yen. To give you an idea of price, one of last night’s specials was a prawn, not prawns with an S just a single, solitary miserable prawn. Cost was €22 euros and, being the fool who ate one expecting the greatest crustacean eating experience of all time , I can vouch it tasted like any other prawn. 3 small bites and it was gone. So by all means join the tourists hordes here, it’s a clever concept, but manage your expectations when it comes to the food and hold your breath when the bill comes.More
