We visited this restaurant on a trip through the national park. It is an idilic spot for lunch over looking the volcanic mountains. Pitched high up on top of an active area they make use of the heat from the volcanic rock oven to cook meals. This can be seen at the rear of the dinning room. The restaurant is... More

There was a huge queue for coffee when we arrived in the cafe area. It was about 11-30 in the morning. No idea how busy it would be at lunch time. Many of the tour buses were having lunches there which means the restaurant was going to be extremley busy. It also meant the car park was full of tour... More

If you want your food naturally cooked by the earth, this is the place to be. They do nice sandwiches too. Nicely placed and designed.

Sorry to disagree with most of the reviewrs, the food we were served was not of something we would like to associate with the stunning views and excellent experience we had in the national park. They know whatever they serve it there, there would be people to eat it. Its a monopoly. The citrus chicken was stale and the pork... More

Dear client, Firstly, thank you very much for your comment, your opinion is very important for this organization. For the preparation of our dishes, we use fresh, top quality ingredients, and our products are made in our restaurant. Regarding the chicken we regret they were not to your liking or cooked the way you wished. Next time, please, ask the... More

Designed by the almost ubiquitos Cesar Manrique, this restaurant holds a commanding position in amongst the blasted landscape of the Timanfaya national Park. Here, various trips stop to allow people to se the ferocity of the heat of the ground- not too far beneath the surface - powerful stuff, but it didn't allow us enough time to eat or even... More

The views from here are outstanding. We had lunch here and both of us loved it. We both had the 1/2 chicken cooked from the heat of the volcano and it was very tasty and not over priced. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Great restaurant in a really stunning place.

The only positive thing about this meal was the view over the national park and the volcanoes. But you can get plenty of that from outside and from the park's tour bus. The meat was rough, gristly and pink in places, not cooked through. Neither of us are particularly fussy eaters, but we simply couldn't finish our meal. It was... More
