Our hotel had to book us a table 3 days in advance, as it so popular. It lived up to is reputation. Knowledgeable professional staff, very good wine and fish cooked to perfection. Yes it is expensive, in Tenerife terms, but given quality of experience, live music in background, slick service including filleting your fish at the table and the setting it is worth it. Given prices in London and other European capitals and mediocre restaurants in Tenerife it is worth every penny. On her next visit to Costa Adeje we would book at least another night if not more

We have eaten here a few times now and still have mixed feelings. After the first time dining here I didn’t think we would dine here again, it was one of those ‘let’s give it another try’ situations.
On this occasion we came with family, the food was good, service very quick and professional, although lacking in friendliness. The service is more refined than the service delivered at the standard restaurants along the beach front. Prices are higher and possibly quite inflated, which doesn’t represent the food served. It is not a Michelin star restaurant, equally is neither a restaurant that offers cheap and cheerful meals, like some of the restaurants on the front offer. We do feel it is overpriced, be it some of the food is good, some dishes still average.
The restaurant has a prime location with lovely views, which lends itself to attract organic bookings just for the views rather than all other aspects of a dining experience. Dining can feel very cramped, they have crammed as many tables in the restaurant as possible to have ‘bums on seats’ which is understandable for any restaurant business, however not to the detriment of their diners. You do feel like you are on top of table next to your, back to back chairs with little room to stand up or sit down without catching your chair on the person behind you.
We have found that customer service was better on some occasions than others and this seemed to be based on what we were wearing at the time. If dressed up smartly, we had better service, if dressed more casual, service not so good and staff quite dismissive. Which is a frustration for me, as I find this sort of judgement very derogatory. Service has been professional, but I can honestly say haven’t experienced what I would class as ‘friendly’ service. Even when the food has been very good we haven’t really been able to shout about how great the waiters were.
I am still undecided about this restaurant. It can be pretentious, and waiters can be a little judgemental and not so friendly. Service has felt somewhat rushed at times, seemingly like they really want to have you out of your seats as soon as possible to reset the table and taking another booking. At the same time, we have left after enjoying a lovely meal and a higher level of professional service compared to the lower priced restaurants. I would still rate as average as we have yet to have all the boxes ticked in terms of food, service, friendliness and price. I think it is one of those restaurants that will always have business due to its location. I would say you need to try it for yourself.

Lovely to have the opportunity to dine with live music…male singer is great👍🏼
Staff are generally friendly and helpful but not guaranteed.
The thing that lets this restaurant down is the selection of dishes and the prices!! Having dined here last year we were aware of this but it’s Michelin prices but sadly average food. Won’t bother next year. There are some stunning restaurants here, which are better value for money and where staff make you feel relaxed.

A disappointing dining experience despite an exceptional setting
Our restaurant meal looked promising with stunning ocean views. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was not up to the breathtaking panorama. While the property proudly displays fresh fish at the entrance, hinting at an authentic dining experience, the reality was quite different.
Our seafood order turned out to be a real disappointment. The mussels served were sorely lacking in freshness, raising legitimate questions about their quality and preservation. The fish, on the other hand, suffered from overcooking which caused it to lose all its natural flavor. Its texture and bland taste clearly betrayed a frozen origin, totally out of step with the mouthwatering presentation in the window.
The 120 euro bill for this poor meal left a bitter taste. More than the large sum paid, it was the feeling of being misled that particularly affected us. Such an establishment, which capitalizes on its privileged location, should maintain a level of culinary quality commensurate with its exceptional setting.

La Torre Del Mirador was recommended to us you cannot book on socials or via email only by phone. I called them the day we arrived in Costa Adeje and booked a table. We were sat at a table way back near the door which was not good when you were trying to get the staff attention. They all seemed to hover up the front area. There was a man playing the piano and singing. The place looked pretty and I quickly realised that you are paying for the entertainment and the ambiance. It was very expensive. We ordered fish soup and padron peppers to start both mediocre. My husband ordered lamb for his main. He had no cutlery to eat it with and struggled to get a staff attention. When he did and tasted his meal it was cold and had hardly any meat. Again he struggled to get the waiting staff attention. By the time someone came to offer my husband a fresh meal I had finished my main course. He did not order another and we asked for the bill. This ruined our whole experience and evening. It was 100 euros for 2 drinks 2 starters and a main. The staff we spoke to about our experience seemed to think he had resolved our issue because they had not charged us for the poor lamb dish. Not interested that the bill was expensive for mediocre food, poor service, the fact that I had eaten while my husband struggled to get the staff attention then on top of this we were leaving before we even saw any singing chef! My personal experience is that this restaurant may look pretty and have entertainment on but that’s what you are paying top dollar for. I much prefer to go somewhere for good food and good service you struggle to get both this restaurant has neither. We spent the rest of our trip eating in The Moon which had fantastic food and excellent service. Don’t bother with La Torre Del Mirador it’s simply not worth it.

Great place, lovely food and wonderful staff. Not our first visit, but have to say just how ridiculously expensive it has become. Expect to pay €100 per head, yes the produce is of a high quality, but €17 for a mushroom starter is outrageous! And when you have paid €400 for your meal the least they could do is offer you a free shot. But they don’t. Feels like they are cashing in on the reputation of the place, and that spoils the experience.

Restaurant has a great atmosphere. The singing chef was fantastic. Waiters great. Food was however the worst meal we have had in Costa Adeje and it was very overpriced. Prawns overcooked, fish was cold, steak was very small and served rare when asked for medium. Sent it back and it came back well done. Go to limoncello instead for much better food at half the price!

We visited here this week... had been here about 8 years ago and loved it so couldn't wait to return. We were four adults and two kids. The kids had already been feed thank God for that as the prices are outrageous!! Food was nice but nothing you wouldnt get anywhere else for half the price. I felt they weren't impressed the kids weren't ordering food. The waiter brought bread and dips to the table before we ordered which I thought was nice and is done in mant restaurants until I noticed on our receipt we were charged €12 for them which I think is darn cheeky when we didn't order them! Our bill was 4 mains one being a salad, portion of chips (which i thought would have been fresh handcut for the price but they werent they were cheap frozen) 4 beers. 2 juices and 2 water €177 !! Nice view but plenty of places with nice views. Personally I wouldn't go back.

We chose to have dinner at this restaurant, but the reservation for 5 people was not accepted as the place was full. We accepted the invitation for 9.30pm. The restaurant had a nice view of the sea and a maitre d' seated us. However, the presence of COCKROACHES near the table forced us to ask for a move, which was kindly carried out.
When ordering, we were undecided, and the maitre d' joked that the kitchen was closing. We giggled and ordered. While we were enjoying the appetizer, the maitre informed us that the first courses were ready. This annoyed us, as they interrupted us while we were eating the appetizer. A high-class venue keeps table time under control.
We have them brought and we also leave the appetizer since we hadn't finished it
while we are eating the maitre d' appears again with a funny expression, and asks us if we want desserts later, so we send the kitchen to sleep,
This time we obviously no longer find anything to laugh about, but only a lot of shame for him and the place for this behavior.
At 10.30pm we were already out of the club
Although the food was of good quality and the restaurant had a nice location, the overall experience was ruined by rushed service and terrible maitre d'. In the end, we spent €320 for a disappointing evening. The maitre d' was AWFUL, the kitchen operators AWFUL. Prices were high
However, the waiters were friendly. Despite this, we cannot recommend this restaurant due to the poor service
Next time when a table calls to book, just say we're full for today, no having customers come later and then taking them away
Price of dinner €320
Terrible evening
Terrible, shameful maitre d'
Terrible kitchen operators
High prices for the market
Good quality / nice location
The other waiters were excellent and very kind

Where to start! Location and setting is why it’s getting one star, outrageously expensive for less than average food! Kids meals €12 greasy chips and dry nuggets, burnt chicken! I got the chicken Caesar salad €21 for a few limp lettuce leaves, shop bought croutons, chicken that looked reheated and was dry and a weird colour and a dressing that was tasteless! My 8 year old can make a better salad! There was 20 of us at the table the staff were so rude and unprofessional I just couldn’t wait to get out of there! We all agreed the food was below average and the prices were absolutely outrageous! I wouldn’t mind paying if we got delicious food but far from it! Don’t he fooled by the setting and location it’s horrendous we’re all still fuming that we had to pay for such awful food and service! I have never written a trip advisor review before but this has to be said!

350 Euro bill for four, would have been fine but really disappointing food and rude customer service left a lot to be desired.
Of our four mains, three were seafood linguine. Unfortunately these dishes were so so dry we could not eat them. Upon mentioning this to our waiter, he promptly sent over who I presumed was his head waiter, and he kindly told me that “if I wanted Italian linguine I should have gone to an Italian restaurant” and with that promptly walked away.
The singing chef didn’t make up for inedible food (and it certainly was inedible), and a very rude waiter and we will not be returning.
Be warned !

We came to the Costa Adeje for my birthday, stayed 1 week, and ate here twice.
On first occasion we were able to get a reservation for 5:30 at the front on the understanding that the table would be required by 7pm. The view is excellent, elevated above the coastal path.
First meal, starters very nice – Iberian pork and a fruit salad, quite decent sized portions, mains were fabulous, my wife had the grilled Turbot, I had the Hake Galician style (buttery garlic sauce with peas, soft potatoes, mini-Clams and Mussels) – very hearty, both fabulous. Plenty to eat, side order of Canarian potatoes and vegetables which were lovely. Wine recommendation good too, Albarino.
We paid up by 7pm, and were only asked to move at around 7:20, to some tables toward the back and side, where we had a comfortable time listening to the music downstairs.
Second meal was on my birthday. We booked the evening before, with same result, a 5:30 sitting and expectation of 7pm vacation of the table. I mentioned about it being my birthday, and when we arrived the following day were ushered to a lovely table, nicely shaded.
They had prepared the table with petals and a posy of Carnations which my wife thought lovely. Again, the food was very nice, Iberian pork once more, but with Padron peppers to start, I had the Turbot in garlic and oil, my wife had the Hake with garlic and oil. The wine this time was a Canarian one we had enjoyed previously at a meal at our hotel. Dessert was a shared Crème caramel and wonderful Perdo Ximenez sherry. This time however, I was given a surprise cake, and the waiters sang happy birthday, which was very kind of them.
Table was vacated on time, and we sat in the same place as the previous occasion, listening to music with a G&T.
The staff are most kind, attentive, and considerate.
The cost of each meal, 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 dessert, with wine and water, was around 225 Euros each time, which is fairly expensive, but the food we had was very good, the location was perfect, and the staff and ambience excellent. We left both times feeling we had a really enjoyable evening.
This restaurant seemed booked up heavily most of the time, so we were grateful to get such good tables, and early dining suited us.

This is a very imposing restaurant on the waterfront between Costa Adeje and the village of La Caleta to the North. The restaurant is run by a coterie of male waiters who are very efficient but the welcome is not warm or relaxed. This well oiled machine services its diners well enough but there should be more to dining out than this.
The food and drinks are expensive by comparison with competitors of a similar standard. 122€ for some bread, a starter, a main course and a bottle of wine.
Hard to recommend except for the stunning cliff top location.

Having enjoyed eating here several times over the years I was surprised to see the very mixed reviews. Now I know why.
When we arrived we were greeted and seated promptly. My wife ordered a cocktail, and I had a beer. OK so far. We ordered our meals, and the starters arrived very quickly, long before my wife could finish her cocktail. Nevertheless she put it to one side to finish between courses. No Chance! The main course arrived before we had finished the starters. When I commented there was no apology, just a shrug.
My wife's meal was acceptable, although not up to the standard I would expect for the price.
My starter was the Iberian Jammon de Bolleta. I have eaten this many times in its home of Andelucia. The fat should just about belt in your mouth, and a taste all of it's own. This was dry, and almost tasteless. I complained about the quality of this, but again a shrug. My main was OK, I think. Not that memorable because I have forgotten what it was. We decided, based on the first two courses not to have desert here.
When the bill came (€170) I asked to speak to the head waiter, and told him of our issues. At least he did say sorry, but then another shrug and just walked off.
It will be a long time before we consider coming back here again.
We are happy to pay for quality, but this was not quality. At least I saved by not leaving a large tip!

Lovely setting, but the food and service was lacking, sadly. Staff are arrogant and unwelcoming and the food is way below par. scallops to start which were tiny and poorly cooked. We had sea bream and salmon for mains (both dry and over cooked) with side of Canarian potatoes which were look-warm. Bill took an age to come as the waiter was too busy buttering up another table for a tip. Would recommend the food at the Hacienda at the other end of the beach any day.
