We had some bad experiences in other bars in Santander - rude service and high prices. So the friendly gentlemen behind the bar (he was there the 3 days we went in) with a warm smile and a "dígame" - speak to me, was a nice change. We had some food, drank some reasonably priced and good wine Luis Cañas)... More

We went for the Anchoas and Cecina de Leon, both good, service was nice, and the owner was simpatic.

Lovely place to pass a few hours drinking nice wine at very reasonable prices. Also has a good taste in music to listen to whilst drinking the lovely wine.

I've been here many times, specially for wine and pinchos. The raciones are really good and the price is alright. The place is very small. People are usually outside eating pinchos and drinking. Good place!

We read about the creative tapas and it did not disappoint. This was our last stop before leaving the North of Spain and continuing on our journey and it was a fine way to end the leg. We came early and met Xavier who takes pride in his interesting combinations- iberico ham with four, for example. Too notch.

This spot by the Cathedral steps is clearly very popular. Food is absolutely lovely and I do recommend the club-type toasted sandwiches and the broken omelette type dishes. A glass of wine is welcome. Whilst service is pleasant it can be very slow and I have waited an hour or so on several occasions. Whilst recommending, this does detract from... More

After searching Santander for a tapas bar we stumbled across this place and it was just as I imagined. Nice cosy feel, tables inside and out, relaxed style of eating and delicious food. We ordered three drinks and three tapas dishes for €24 euro which was pretty reasonable for the quality of the food. Worth a visit

Having found this lovely little bar one day for a drink we returned for lunch and were delighted with the various pinchos that were brought to our table. The Rabas and the croquetas were particularly good. A very reasonable bottle of white wine for 10 euros also helped! Search this place out when in Santander.

Place Looked good but the waitress was rude. Had to wait for service. Questions not properly answered, curt limited responses. Brought warm bottled water on a hot day. When questioned was told "there is no cold water" Really??? Just a complete lack of service. She was nicer to the yappy dog sitting at the next table!
