Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Loved this place, great ambiance, friendly staff and fantastic food at a very fair price for the quality. Will definitely be back again but will be sure to book as we arrived at 8.30 on a Wednesday evening and it was pretty much full inside...and out so recommend a reservationMore

We had such a lovely experience here last night. The waitress was fabulous, she was very engaging and guided us with food and wines. The venue was fully reserved and had a great buzz to it- inside and out

Outstanding food served by friendly and knowledgeable young people. It’s tapas style, but portions are generous and choices are excellent. We went twice and had completely different dishes each time. The tuna and the curry prawns were outstanding. Local wines are very good too. Superb!

Fabulous food, service and wine. Subtle and clever combinations of flavours. Food and wine waitress Aroa was a delight, able to speak English which was such a help for us, knowledgeable about wine and generous with tastings. She clearly shared our interest in good wines....Would love to go again if ever back in Salamanca.More

Our second time at this tapas bar. The food is lovely and a reasonable price. English is spoken and they will talk you through the menu. The wine is very good. Always very busy and a nice atmosphere. We will return next time we are...in Salamanca.More

Had a late dinner consisting of black lentils and pork belly, veal sweet breads, and morucha hamburger. Split choco cake for dessert. All foods tasted great and were perfectly executed. Staff were friendly and helpful. I felt the value was outstanding and highly recommend this...restaurant. If you can avoid the Plaza tourist traps, go here instead for better food at less cost!More

This restaurant has it all: good food, very, very, friendly service - as well as fast - and not over-the-top prices. Excellent choice to eat in Salamanca.

We had dinner here. Very friendly, enthusiastic service by the owner (I presume) who walked us through the menu in splendid English and made good recommendations. The white wine poured were all orange wines, not my liking, but the red was fantastic. The dishes were...delicious with a (for Spain) unusual focus on vegetables such as watercress, endives, chickpeas.More

I chose this cozy restaurant by Tripadvisor. And, as usual, I didn't regret it. Really, a great place. The meat was excellent. The waiter Pedro is all courtesy. But I liked the wine list the most. Traditional Spanish leading brands from Rioja and Ribera del...Duero occupy only 15-20%, the rest are wines from other places: Valencia, Segovia, neighboring Avila. Of course, to expand my erudition, I tried wines from Salamanca. The first entry in the "Wine Diary" was the local white wine from Salamanca "Wine Madre". The second wine from the same bodega Vina al margen was red Crusol. Both are of excellent quality. Dinner with two glasses of wine cost 25 euros.More

They only appear to take calls during opening hours, not during the day at other times. If you are in Salamanca, you could wait at the door from about 1945 and they will always try to help when they open at 2000. I hope... More
