Went here as the reviews were good and was not a far distance from our hotel. Started off well enough, the place is quaint and small. Our mains arrived, unfortunately my chicken was raw inside which I sent back and was recooked, but while waiting for my chicken my partner found a long hair in his steak (we both have... More

Went for lunch with another person and the food was excellent, actually too much to eat on the plate. 3 course lunch came with white or red wine choice plus salad and main. Main course plate was huge and could not finish it all. Waiter was very nice young man and very good English. Most enjoyable. In the middle of... More

This restaurant has a very nice cosy atmosphere and its staff are very welcoming and give great service. It was one of the best meals we had here. All of our meals were delicious and as one of our party was vegetarian they had a good choice of food. We had the following dishes - all of which we would... More

This restaurant looks very small from the outside but upstairs there are a number of tables on two floors. The decor is attractive. We were shown to a table by a window that looks out onto the busy square below. We were very well looked after by Rai who spoke perfect English and answered all of our questions about the... More

After all the good reviews, this was a must visit. After waiting till it opened (8:30 pm), I was shown to a window table and given a bilingual menu by a lovely waitress. So far, so good. I ordered a starter and the boeuf bourguignon and a glass of house red. The waitress quickly returned and told me there was... More

We had Menu Del Dia on a quiet Tuesday lunchtime and decided to eat inside. We had a table by the window with a lovely view of the square. The food was absolutely excellent- I had chicken salad, then merluza in tempura served on a mushroom sauce followed by chocolate brownie. Nice service by one waitress who seemed to serving... More

Very good quality of food and the dishes came in a good pace (not too quickly as most of the time in Spain) We can really recommend the crab burger and the foie gras as starters. Very friendly service!

It turned out there was a festival on in Salamanca whilst we were there. Plaza Mayor was packed with people as were most of the central areas. This restaurant however was on a quiet square just outside Plaza Mayor and we were grateful for the respite. Service from the one waitress was good and friendly. I had the biggest tinto... More

This bistro is located just outside the plaza and its very romantic in the evening. We had a ensalada de tomated secos as a starter and bavette and farfalle con vodka y bacon as second a wine and a beer and bread and water for only€50,-- euros. The quality of the food is very excellent . So a good place... More

Special house dishes are brilliant - chicken blades was great. Juan our waiter was very helpful and attentive and kept apologising for his excellent English. located just off of the main square but well worth finding.
