this was the worst night out in a restaurant ever. I ordered trout. There were only 2 covers for the entire evening yet my fish arrived cold and raw in the middle. I sent it back. Eventually another appeared as my companion was finishing his meal. By now the accompanying potatoes were cold. They were not replaced. The 2nd fish... More

Good evening Sr phillipsalter450, First, apologize for your bad experience in our home. When you said us that the trout wasn't what your were waiting for, we tried to resolve it, but the trout had to go back to the kitchen and it takes time for doing it. We try to solve the error by reducing the bill. We are... More

I think this was our best meal so far on this trip. Not cheap but worthwhile. The staff were friendly and helped us out with the menu. Will return

We had the menu that was €25 that included castellana soup, cochinillo segoviano and natillas with wine and bread. Everything was really nice including the wine, the piglet was tender and juicy just like it's supposed to be. The restaurant was very busy and the service was fast and efficient. It would have been nice to eat the piglet with... More

We ate lamb and suckling pork, both excellent. Supreme service too. Local people eating meaning no touristic trap but real good food

Picked El Bernardino from my guidebook, one of two similar looking establishments on the uphill Calle Cervantes. In daytime it's next to the viewpoint Mirador Canalejas and I believe the far end of the dining room offered this same view. Decor was typically Castillian and the friendly staff spoke sufficient English. Dined here twice, first time steak had rather too... More

We literally had 45 minutes to eat and I wish I had had two hours in this restaurant. We were on a tour and had to get back. The staff at El Bernardino were SO accommodating to our rush!!!! But best of all.... the food was out of this world!!!! I literally looked on trip advisor for a "Spanish" restaurant... More

Our tour guide recommended we try this restaurant. We were NOT disappointed. The service was splendid and the menu varied enough to suit everyone's tastes. This is an authentic Spanish restaurant and the service was special. DO NOT miss this establishment if you visit Segovia!
