we came here late at night to get dinner. It's quite fancy inside, relatively speaking, once you come in behind the giant door where you are buzzed in. We ordered shrimp with garlic butter over angel hair. It was simple and delicious. The menu was extensive, service was attentive without being intrusive, and we were pleased. Decor was grand and... I'll start with wow. Everything was so great: from the service, the atmosphere, the place itself and of course the food. It is very fancy but also very homely, I got the feeling as if a good friend invited me to dinner in his fancy living room. Food is Italian with great pasta and meat. The desserts really are amazing.

A discreet, rococo styled formal Italian restaurant/cuisine where the Italian chef/owner takes your order. I've eaten here on various occasions and never disappointed. Pasta is delicious and extra plates come to try with complements of the chef. Entrecôte Steak and "Dorada" white fish is almost a must have as your second dish. Deserts: have 't found one that I didn't... More

With its locked door, giant oil paintings on the wall and an army of waitresses, the first impression can be deceiving. I have to admit it has a refined ambiance and great service. But the food itself fell far short of my expectation. The tasting menu has a good value, but actually non was that outstanding from primo, secondo to... More

Tony Greco is you welcoming host. When you need a break from tapas and feel like Italian, this is your go to in Barcelona. From the moment you ring the doorbell you receive attentive, genuine good service. Housed behind a big wood door on an unassuming street in Gracia, Da Greco serves delicious food in an opulent setting. Ensalad caprese,... More

The decoration is toooo much. They try to impress you, but they're not so good. The food is just ok. The owner tries to be nice with the clients, but we heard how she talks with the staff, and that was not polite at all!

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
