We strolled past this a few times before being enticed in by the lady outside offering us a free glass of Sangria or Cava. As a party of 4 we opted for the evening set menu - it was excellent! Priced at 18 euros each...More

On our last night we strolled up and down looking for somewhere to eat; the girl outside said to us 'Eat here you won't leave sad' and she was right! Infact we left feeling this was the best evening meal of our short trip and...More

This restaurant has really fresh and authentic Catalan cuisine. We got in on Sunday before the lunch rush and watched the locals pour in after church. The fish was fresh, the paella delicious and the service friendly. If you’re in the area it’s definitely a...More

La Broqueta was recommended to us by our hotel concierge and it did not disappoint. The staff and service were wonderful, and the food was amazing. The hanging skewers were beautiful. If we would have had more time, we would have definitely returned!

To start good service in a nice location. Food was ok but have to admit the starters outshone main courses. Speciality appears to be skewers and they were ok although by no means amazing

Starting with traditional toasted bread with garlic to rub on and tomato sauce - King prawn risotto and vegetarian dishes for mains with a great Brut Cava - unusual idea but we got through 2 inexpensive bottles!

The restaurant was just down the street from the hotel. I wanted to go to a calçotada (grilled green onions with grilled meats) and they had a special calçotada menu for 30€. The calçots were excellent, but I'd just rate the rest of the meal...More

We were advised by our hotel to go there for a rice experience, but we were quite disapointed. We had two different rices (a bacalao and a black) and if the bacalao one was quite good, the black was too sweet and some of the...More

A local friend recommended this restaurant to us for a good Spanish meal and we weren't disappointed! We enjoyed sitting outside on the atmospheric main street in this area. We had the traditional toasted bread with roasted tomato and garlic rubbed onto it, followed by...More

The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's

this area of town is the newly crowned technological

containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well
as a host of local and international high tech
companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents
