Firstly I should state that unfortunately we didn't get to eat or drink here. After queuing for a while to get a seat at the busy bar, we sat down and ordered two glasses of fino sherry before choosing what to eat. We were told...More

When you become fed up with walking “the Rambas”midway up towards Cataluña square on the left is a large covered food market. On the fringes are little bars serving fresh tapas sourced from the market. We choose Pinotxo as they served Pilsen Urquel; other bars...More

We arrived early to get a table and Juan was there to greet us with his signature smile and two thumbs up. This bar is located right at the entrance at la boqueria. Juan recommended some dishes including meat, lobster (which cost 25 euros per...More

We had read a lot about this being a "must see" and were very disappointed. Yes, the food was good. Yes, the server who's pictured in every advertisement for this place was quirky and fun and took pictures with the tourists. And yes, the bill...More

It was a great visit with friendly staff. Food is amazing, don't miss out the baby squids and the calms! Great atmosphere dining in the market. Highly recommend the bar seat to make the meal more fun by seeing the team works!

We were very lucky to walk straight into a couple of free seats just after the breakfast rush. Sat down to razor clams, venison skewers, a selection of croquettes and those outstanding chickpeas. Great coffee served up by Juan. This place is worth the wait!
