It's a nice place to have some churros with a real hot chocolate. Also it has an authentic exterior (I believe it's from 1872). Service was a bit too slow, but it wasn't a problem.

Was drawn by their TripAdvisor "recommended/excellence" decal but it doesn't live up to expectations. Don't understand why they got it. The chocolate dip or hit chocolate was 2.70 euros. Paid 5.20 in total for the chocolate and churros. Churros wasn't fantastic. They warmed the cooked churros and served, so it's not crispy but soft. Won't recommend.

I step in alone looking for a table. I did´t get that nice welcome as the waitress made me feel bad by occupying a table being alone. After 3 min I have been invited to have a sit then i got my order pretty fast. Place is nice but the girls not that focus on service or details and looked... More

I went there with a friend. We ordered two cups of chocolate and some biscuits. The chocolate was horrible, the worst we had ever eaten. It was like dishwater. We complain and asked for the ticket. It was very expensive, something like 4 euros per cup of chocolate!

The most older place to have a chocolate for breakfast or a sweet afternoon...A roman wall as a part of the establishment. Good place to talk and enjoy !

We were there with my friends for a late breakfast. We tried crepes with sugar, croissant with jam, sandwich with tuna. All were delicious and fresh made. Thanks to friendly staff and good food we enjoyed time in this very very old place.

We wondered across this place about 11pm, still serving food. Between three of us we ordered 8/9 tapas dishes which was ample. Food was a high standard especially the octopus and calamari. Croquettes (a personal fave) were also good. We kept it fairly basic on the house red wine but that was nice. Topped off with port and whiskey (measures... More

I was wandering through the gothic section of Barcelona and spotted a chalk board that said "Enjoy a coffee or our famous chocolate while looking at a roman wall". Well -who can resist that? It's a tiny little sandwich shop/coffee/churro shop. The girl that served me was a delightful help and between the 2 of us figured out what to... More
