We fancied some Japanese food for a change so chose Koy Shunka. It's typically set up with an open kitchen with counter seating around the kitchen. There's also a couple of counter bar height tables set back facing the kitchen as well. The sashimi, sushi and nigiri was excellent and beautifully presented but quite expensive. The miso was good but... More

Lovely restaurant for any sushi lover. Try the Wagu nigiri!! The wagu flight is lovely but perhaps not worth the money. The tempura scallop is so light. The raspberry dessert is fantastic also.

We ordered Koy Shunka tasting menu. The food was really good although a little bit too exotic to our taste. A small minus that we didn't get any sommelier's recommendation per dish, instead the recommendation was to take a whole bottle for the entire menu, even though the food flavors varied a lot.

Not sure why all the odd negative reviews recently from 1-5 review people...We thought it was great! We enjoyed a number of things off of the a la carte menu, including the kobe beef tartare, oysters, toro, salmon, and toro with sea urchin. The oysters had a broth (dash stock?) with them that was very tasty, and everything was very... More

Bad and rude service , the quality of the fish is good but is just traditional sushi with nothing else . You can have the same sushi anywere , there's no innovation and no imagination , not worth what you pay .

I have visited a lot of sushi restaurant through my life. From cheap one to fine one. In my country, to eat this quality of sushi, you have to pay about 100~250 bucks! But here, this place provides great food with reasonable price! Visit here!

The place looked very unique and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. We ordered the tasting menu, which was delicious and special. We had a very pleasant lunch. The courses were in the Japanese spirit of presenting food as it is, in a most wonderful and minimal way. The taste was clean and gentle. Recommended for couples, business or small... More

Terrible food, the fish did not feel as fresh as it should. We were with our kids and there was no intention to offer options that they could eat. The price vs the quality was extremelly disappointing. Do not try the Noodles nor the sushi The wagyu was ok.

It started bad with a rude lady in the reception. From then on it was all downhill... Maybe we had too good of expectations 'cause we read it was a fancy and good Japanese restaurant, but we came out very disappointed. Overpriced menu, food was no better that our corner sushi shop, and the service was plain awful... I would... More
