Tapeo Born is a small, friendly, and lively restaurant. We ended up dining here twice during our visit and would go back again in a minute! We made a reservation for both visits and I highly recommend making one. We had a small table for...More
Me and my girlfriend were here in April 2017. This was by far the best place we ate tapas, of the Whole week we were there. Godd service, good sangria, and great Food. I will definately came back next time I'm in Barcelona.
Came here last night for Valentines Day dinner. I was a bit disappointed in the service. I know they were busy but what irked me was the table that came in 10 minutes after us got their appetizers before we even did. Maybe the server...More
I sat at the bar and could watch the activity behind the bar as well as see the chefs in action in the open kitchen. It’s a hive of activity and yet all so calm and peaceful. Jazz playing to add to the atmosphere, it’s...More

Last day in Barcelona of a 4 day weekend, looking for somewhere to have a great lunch to sign off the weekend before heading to the airport. Not easy on a Monday but we found Tapeo and it couldn’t have been better. Lovely mellow atmosphere,...More
Tiny place so definitely make a reservation. Loved the Artichoke chips, asparagus tempura, tomato and burrata, quinoa and avocado salad and the short ribs are to die for. Sangria is great too. Only reason I’m not giving five stars is the fried anchovies were soggy....More
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants
ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
Yes--very Family friendly. They will enjoy the atmosphere and the tapas!! Barcelona is an awesome city to visit. Make sure you ride the elevator to the top of Christopher Columbus statue. Great views there
