I went with my girlfriend to this restaurant for lunch. The food was, in average, good , except the octopus which was undercooked(having a girlfriend with roots in Galicia makes that a terrible mistake). The place was not crowded and the service, yet very nice...More

The staff are very attentive here, nice ambience, good selection on the menu, food tasted really good. We rate this place highly. It also is right accross from a parking which is handy!

Very nice dishes, served in an expensive setting. Value is appropriate to the price. Seems to be a place which, at lunchtime anyway, is focused on the business lunch set. Had a very nice winter soup, followed by an interesting hamburguesa. I think the pollo...More

A pretty place for an evening meal. Great service. Had the anchovies, squid, bread with tomato, tuna tatars and passion mousse. All good.

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you
enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally
translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes
recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant
atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district,
Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end
international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the
glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best

Blau BCN is in the Eixample district in Barcelona and comes fresh from the success of its sister restaurant BLAU de Begur. The chef, Marc Roca, offers excellent Catalan cuisine in this fashionable eatery. The décor at Blau BCN is simple but welcoming, inspired by the blue seas of the nearby Costa Brava. The contemporary dining room is decorated with blue walls and black and white photos, while the Catalan menu focuses on treating ingredients with the care they deserve to maximise flavour while losing none of their intensity. Specialities include poached egg with wild mushrooms, beef entrecote cooked in salt or scallops with a Catalan shrimp stew. Dining at Blau BCN is undoubtedly a very special experience.
