I love food and I love theatre, moreover I love the two combined, thats what ticket is all about. If you are expecting classic tapa from start to finish then this is not for you, if you love the Adria brothers, flavour and playful food then this is a must do. From spherified olives and puffed cheese to truffled cheese... More

If you manage to get a table while visiting barcelona, go. You are going to pay over market prices but the whole experience is worth it. Some of their tapas are copies of what Ferran Adria used to do at El Bulli, so paying 1/2 or even 1/3 to sample something that does no longer exist is good value. Book... More

However we live in Barcelona this was my first time in Tickets. Usually people says that you go there for trying something different and have a culinary experience....but.... what the hell!!! The food was delicious!!!!. We tried, I do not know how many dishes, and any of it came with a surprising texture and taste. This restaurant does not pretend... More

We ate at Tickets during a two week trip to London and Barcelona. During the trip, we ate at several of the "better" restaurants, including Restaurant Gordon Ramsay and the Ledbury while in London, and Tickets and Moments while in London. We had high expectations for Tickets based on the reviews on Tripadvisor. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet our... More

The atmosphere is VERY casual, it's a great place to make a memorable meal out of terrific tapas, appetizers that are different than anything you've eaten and that would be at home (in fact, were at home) in world class restaurants like El Bulli where some of these were first developed. If you enjoy food, this makes for an evening... More

This restaurant turned out to be as good as we had hoped- the brainchild of the the El Bulli team, the food is delicious and very clever, and the portions being tapas portions, one has a chance of sampling many different things. This is certainly much more expensive than your average tapas bar, but this is food at its best... More

Tickets was for me, the best thing about being in Barcelona. I did my research on getting a reservation and had kept a close watch on the website to make sure I could get reservations on the day I wanted. And I was rewarded. We decided to go for the surprise menu which made the whole experience so much more... More

We were lucky to get a table without reservation early a thursday evening in november. This restaurant is one of the best I have ever visited. The waitress was very positive and made us a suggestion of 18 different dishes. Everyone of these was amazing. Most surprising and tasteful were the olives we had for a starter. The interior is... Loved the food and atmosphere, but resies were weird. No reply, no phone number, so we took advice and waited in line one hour before opening. There were some words exchanged about who was in line first and where the line begins...we are afterall Americans...but turned out, everyone in line got in (Tue night). We felt that the line waiting... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
