The food was really nice, maybe not as good as we expected based on other reviews but it was good. The atmosphere in the restaurant is really nice, staff is very kind.

Teresa Carles is a great vegatarian restaurant in Tallers Street, between Las Ramblas and the University. Visitors are of all ages : we saw families with small children, older couples and a lot of between in between. I had the red devila Raviolo : superb in taste, but the food itself was served not hot enough. That's the only reason... More

I always try to bring non-vegetarian people to this place and everybody comes out really impressed and satisfied. I always enjoy ordering the vegan fideuá which is amazing!

While exploring El Raval, we found this lovely vegetarian restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed, the decor modern and the waiters very friendly. I'm not a vegetarian myself, but the menu leaves plenty to choose from. I had the risotto - it was very good.

A great restaurant with tons of vegan options. I loved the food and would go back again if I were in the neighborhood, but I think their other restaurant Flax & Kale is even better.

I've heard a lot about this resturant and read reviews as well as their website before visiting, so my expectations were pretty high. To be hoenst I was somewhat disappointed because the food was really average and I've tasted way better dishes in a walking distance from it. The place was really crowded and busy and needed more waiters to... More

Love this place amazing food, after spending a week in Barcelona me meat eating friends are glad of a rest from ham and chorizo, definitely worth a visit but advise to book at table rather than just turn up as it does get busy.

I've hear very nice things about this veggie restaurant, and I was going there with very high expectations. The place is noise and you feel you are having lunch with the peopke next to you. I've liked the nachos, but croquettes... not the best thing to choose. The pumkin ones didn't taste like pumkin, and were cold inside; and the... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
