Awesome music, good lighting (which is ese in Barcelona -take it from a cinematographer that lives in this city-) and great food. Winners on the men Grilled artichokes Pluma ibérica "Korean style" And a great great waiter called Andres that is fun, charming and there for you in a extremely busy restaurant!

Visited La Pepita while staying close by; absolutely superb! Obviously a very popular place. Great choice of food, my favourite being the skewered steak, cooked to perfection. Lovely interesting decor, but the best bit was the the lovely, friendly and very helpful staff.

We went as part of a birthday treat, as always on the recommendation of TripAdvisor. Get very busy after 8pm, so go early if you can, and if not make sure you give you name so you can be seated as a table comes free. Excellent Tapas, well cooked and presented. We were a large group but they presented everything... More

Very nice kind of "hipster" tapas place with unique atmosphere and friendly people. We had a tapas menu with great selection of meat, sea food and las bravas :-). Portions are not huge, but everything was very good and we had a great time. The tartar steak and bravas were the top on our menu. There is also a very... More

After a midday stroll around the Gràcia district, we decided to take lunch at this wonderful family-run tapas bar. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the friendly waitress, who was very attentive to our needs during the entire lunchtime sitting. She explained that the "pepita", as the name of the establishment suggests, is their signature offering and consists of... More

Excellent, in this place you will find special combination that will really surprise you. La pepita serve high quality tapas, honestly difficult to explain but you have to try it. I love that the place is far from pretentious, price are more than ok and that the recipes are so researched. in one word I love it. Try the lubina... More

New concept of tapas, reinventing our spanish beloved pepito sandwich, feminizing it and using new ingredients under this same concept. Taking care of the traditional receipts, product´s season and tapas eating way. La Pepita is a place to come for an early aperitif, some beers and bravas, late lunch or dinner, at the marble bar or in the cozy small saloon. It is a familiar restaurant, where the value for money and treat is something we take care about.

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
