Food are really tasty and well served, the menu has a good assortment of typical Spanish/Cataluña dishes. Really love the variety of French cheeses, the burrata and the bread is awesome ! We were walking with no great plans so we have been captured by the cosy style of the shop-restaurant. We decided for a quick aperitif before dinner and we had a nice talkative service that personalized the service with bit of history of the place. Interesting! We have been suggested as well on the food selection and we really enjoyed... More

La Cuina d'en Garriga is one of those places in Barcelona where the atmosphere, the service, the food, and the decor are a perfect combination to create one of the top intimate dining experiences in Barcelona. I hate garbonzos, but after GARBANZOS CON ESPINACAS starter, I am convert. The Salmon Sashimi presentation and flavour was superb. But the crowning achievement... More

I visited the restaurant with friends and the location is perfect. The restaurant is just very cool, it has a good atmosphere and very design. I do really love this place. Service was not the best, it felt like people who work in there is the first time they start working there. However they were quite polite. The owner very... More

We waited for more than 1h and 30' to get our main courses. Something is wrong which this restaurant and hopefully it was only this day. Terribly slow. The starters were all great but the main courses -except the press ibérica that was delicious- just acceptable. The skid wit onion sauce was terrible. Too much wine on the sauce made... More

We were visiting Malta from Australia and decided on a trip to Barcelona for a few days and stumbled across this groovy cafe where we enjoyed the most dilectable sashimi and some great coffee. Our Australian friends came to visit the following day and we planned to meet up here again however there is another restaurant with a similar name... More

Bad unfriendly service, especially the owners who couldnt be bothered to acknowledge the clientele. Overpriced small portions. Theres a lot more authentic and less pricey options in the area.

Small red entrance but beautiful vintage deco inside. Good menu but long long service. Salad and soup came together. 5 different waiters served us, all running around in a stressed way. The customers should feel comfortable even at the busiest time of the day. Food was ok: the daily sweet potato soup was lukewarm, had the color but not the... More

We came back to this lovely restaurant twice in our last trip to Barcelona. We had dinner with friends one night, and as the night was balmy we sat outside. We ordered an amazing cheese plate, cold cuts, fresh salads and absolutely everything was first class. It sounds exaggerated but in a city like Barcelona, which is increasingly becoming a... More

Top quality foods, ingredients and service. Try the chuleton if a red meat lover. I regularly take customers here and they ask to return on their next visit.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
