We checked TripAdvisor and Google for a local tapas bar. We picked Gasterea for dinner. We were at 5 pm there, but it was closed. No informations outside about the openings. Google told us everything, it opens at 6.30 pm. The food was good, not...More

We had a 5 days trip to Barcelona and we ate two days in a row at Gasterea, we fell in love with their food. Try the 4,5 euros bacalao with vegetables and tataki tuna, they are incredible.

The service was good. You pay for the number of sticks in your plate - the pintxos concept. Difficult to get seat during peak dinner time. Pintxos were delicious specially chorizos. Only wish we could order without the bread. Every dish is served with bread....More

This is a small, actually very small restaurant that does some excellent Pinchos and local Catalan dishes. Overall it's definitely a highlight of our visit to the city, but be prepared to wait for a space to sit down as the place is small and...More

In a city overrun with tourist-trap 'Spanish' restaurants displaying their dishes on menus with pictures hanging at the entrance, it is refreshing to come across a place like Gasterea. This is a no pretense tapas and pintxos bar that serves authentic and rustic fare at...More

We stumbled on this place which was just up the street from our ABB. Their food was so delicious and reasonably price. It gets pretty crowed so come early. We will certainly come back again!

This is great local neighbourhood bar in Gracia , quite a way from the tourist areas. We got there early ( by Spanish standards ) and were able to get seats at the end of the bar. The cold pintxos , stacked at the bar...More

We went for dinner and sat around the bar...well, we could not stop eating!!!, from croquettes, to piquillo pepper filled with tuna, pork or artichoke bruschetta. Our waiter was awesome and I was shocked when we saw the bill. Totally worth the price.

Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to
be an independent town until late into the 19th

the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole
different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many
international artists to this area, resulting in a
wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy
boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the
