Follow the reviews on Tripadvisor we decided to try.. We weren't disappointed. The salmon as main was excellent. Really tasty and the portion was around the right size. Dessert was pleasant enough. We enjoyed to stay and we will come back

Truly a genuine gem of a restaurant! My family and I had the dinner tasting menu and I had the wine pairing with it. Starting with the first course of quality Iberico ham with bread and fresh tomatoes you could tell a lot of intelligent thought went into all of the dishes and especially the wine pairings. All of the... More

Found this place on Tripadvisor and as we were staying around the corner at the Illunion, we thought we'd give it a go. We weren't disappointed. The squid and sausage with rice main was excellent. Really tasty and the portion was around the right size. Dessert was pleasant enough. Only slight criticism was that the salmon starter tasted a little... More

Five of us had the eight course tasting menu with the wine pairing. Menu is attached but I don't actually know what the regular menu looks like. The setting is simple and small. The waiter was also the maitre'd and the busboy; there was no one else in the front of the house but didn't matter as it was only... More

We went for lunch around 2:00PM. The food and service were very good. We had the red mullet and Iberian pork and the rice with sausage and fresh grilled squid. The almond cake was the best dessert I've ever had; it has many sauces to taste with.

After visiting La Forquilla once for dinner, I found the food to be awesome, and the scallops that I ordered were very well prepared, with just the right texture. Decided to visit again for lunch, where I had the crispy suckling pig. Though it is definitely different from what one gets in Asia, it was once again nicely done, with... More

We had a lovely meal here, perfect food and wine. The waiter/chef (yes! The same person! How he is able to remain so relaxed during the whole evening is beyond me.) provided an excellent service and quality dinning experience, taking the time to explain every aspect of the dinner. It really shows just how much he cares about what he... More

Very good surprise. Great food sophisticated, but not too much. Very tasty. going there is a very good choice especially for business meeting or with your love. Not so many tables, around 4 or 5 if I remember correctly, so booking a table in advance would be a good idea.

The cooking has matured a notch since last visit a couple of years ago and is now on a Michelin one-star level IMHO. The tasting menu and the wine pairing is very good, well presented and excellent value for money. Warmly recommend this quiet little restaurant.

Another fantastic visit to La Forquilla the food was superb , the sensations menu consisted of all my favourites cooked exceptionally well . It's a shame the road works are affecting business there were only 2 couples in , a few people looked in but didn't come in because the place wasn't busy it was sadly their loss ! Thanks... More

Staying in Poblenou

Neighbourhood Profile
Poblenou
The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centres catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.
