It might seem silly to recommend a visit to a French bistro when in Barcelona. However, my wife and I went there late one evening and enjoyed it tremendously. The inside decor is indeed traditionally French - as is the menu and the wine list(excellent...More

Two meals were ordered because they came with asapargus. No-one said a thing as these meals were served without a piece of asparagus in sight. On questioning - WE became the problem - obviously we had not understood that zuchini & carrot were sufficient. On...More

Café Emma was a really good find, the best eatery of our 3 day stay in Barcelona. Typically it was dinner on final day ! The food was typically French bistro, but really good quality. We both started with salads, Niçoise and Goat’s Cheese; followed...More

We went very enthusiastic to Caffe Emma to have a nice brunch, coz I really liked the place the last time I went there. As we arrived the place, it was pretty busy and the french waiter on duty seemed very uneasy. We asked for...More

They accepted a large party of 16 without a fuss. Food was mediocre to good. Asparagus season so why served bottled and not fresh? Steak was very tasty but minuscule portions. Service was fine. Something lacking here and I would not return.

Our waitress was from the Philippines and could not have been nicer. My husband ordered the quiche of the day, it happened to be tuna and I ordered the salmon with asparagus and hollandaise sauce. Both were to die for. The quiche had incredible flavor...More

Ate here several times during a recent business trip and was constantly unimpressed. Staff were generally unresponsive and got some pretty basic things wrong. Pointing at bread on the menu resulted in the appearance of eggs benedict (how can they get it wrong when I...More

What a bloody lovely cafe. It's tots drenched up in all things France. Paris France. Oh the joy. Oh my weak heart. Oh the ridiculousness!

This is a stylish restaurant which would be good for business lunches or for a meeting with friends and family. It is very French, has excellent food and attentive service. Its light and airy with interesting wall decor. The tables are large and roomy so...More

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you
enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally
translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes
recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant
atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district,
Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end
international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the
glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best
