We tried two dishes there: the "brandade de morue - bacalao" and the foie gras with caramelized apple. Both were excellent!!

Discovered this great place last week and returned several times. The staff were really welcoming, the ambiance buzzing continuously and the food delicious. Thank you for having us and we hope to be back one day. Highly recommended!

The food was simple but wholesome. The staff were busy but went our their way to help. The atmosphere was relaxing abd overall I would recommend it. We had two nights in barcelona and visited on our first night, it was so good we booked again for the next night. Two dishes not too miss; croquettes and bravas. Also, sangria... More

I use to go here often with my couple and friends. It s a good spot in a nice tiny square in the center on Sants borough. You can have an hamburger or veggie dishes or classic patatas bravas... The kitchen is too small so you have to wait a lot for your menus and another weak point is that... More

Placa D'Osca is still a pretty non-touristic nice little square in Sants which is great for summer evening with mostly locals. La mestressa is in our opinion the best place to have some food there. Fairly priced, pretty delicious and nice atmosphere.

this is a very little place in the heart of Sants; it is usually very crowded but if you can, make a reservation and try the "patatas bravas" and the eggs with foie. They are really good!

This was a great surprise in a little residential area behind our hotel found in a little square with several other restaurants. Even though it was quite busy just the food came in great time. Delicious appetizers and main course and very reasonable. The food seemed to have a little twist from your typical meals in Barcelona which was a... More

We stumbled across La Mestressa and are so glad we did. The atmosphere was very authentic and the food was excellent. There was nothing touristy about La Mestressa, which we believe is a great thing. We chose 5 dishes to share among 3 people and we enjoyed each one. The cuttlefish and sausage dish was unique and a little strange... More

Wanted to come here as I heard good things so we took a table outside in the shade but we waited 20 mins before anyone came to our table and when the waitress eventually came told us we had to move from our table in the shade to a table with the sun beaming down on us as our table... More
