I have been living in Barcelona for almost a year, and always come back to Taller de Tapas as the food and staff are some of the best I have experienced. Preet was waiting on us on our latest visit and always provides an amazingly friendly service. The food was great, and the atmosphere is nice sitting outside in the... More

As a couple on both ends of the Gastronomic scale Taller de Tapas hits the mark for both of us. There is really great range of adventurous sea food options such as squid and spicer prawn options but importantly there are safer options for more careful diners such as the salt cod in batter which is like a small portion... Taller de tapas is located on a small square and is mainly focused on tourists. A tapas menu that for some odd reason was only served inside and not on the terrace was a bit disappointing. Rather plain straightforward dish. Do not expect creativity coming out of this kitchen.

We stumbled onto this tapas restaurant...at 7.45 it was empty, by 8.15 it was full! Word is out...the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent! We particularly liked the sautéed chick peas and spinach, and the calamari with lime Mayo which was light and soft...not a hint of chewy! 6 dishes, a beer and bottled water for €35:... More

The Creme Catalan is the best I've ever eaten. The Fried Baby Squids are better than in other restaurants. And the staff is very nice and likeable, especially Ivan from Ecuador . He is very very friendly and when I wanted to order one more Creme Catalan ( my third one ) he already anticipated and asked: One more ?... More

first of all a great wine list to wash down your food, a range of good spanish wines. Tapas was best bet excellent shrimp, chorrizo and sardines. Strongly recommend the mushrooms and the goat cheese salad. Good service, unrushed and enjoyable

Came here three times in early February at the beginning of a two month trip throughout Spain. In February I really liked this place, the ambiance, the charming staff and the quality of the tapas. Last night, having just returned to Barcelona for the final week of my trip, I came back to this tapas bar looking to experience again... More

Dear Nick F, Thank you for your critique, all are very useful and help us to improve. We ´re really sorry that your fourth visit was not as good as your first three, we really do aim to please always but running a restaurant is rather like being on stage and sometimes you may have a difficult service. Our barman... More

Visited here following a recommendation from someone at work. The menu was very extensive and when the food arrived we were blown away with how fresh and authentic it tasted.

Not the best tapas you could ever eat, but a convenient location and tasty options across meat, seafood (octopus was lovely) and vege. We were a large group accommodated at short notice and enjoyed the experience.
