We attended with a group of 38 work colleagues and had the fish set menu. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, the wine was lovely and we could not have felt more welcome. Well done!

The staff were friendly, the service was good, the ambience is nice, although we went at about 9pm and it was dark so we had no view. I would suggest going during daylight because in the evening it was quiet in the area and nothing...More

On our recent visit to Barcelona we wanted to have seafood paella and based on recommendations and reviews we tried Barraca. We arrived on a chilly and damp evening and sat upstairs in the dining room. With the open kitchens you get to see all...More

We wondered around for ages before we gave up and found this place on the beach front. The paella was one of the best I’ve had was full of flavour! Would have been happy for more for the price we paid. The bathroom and some...More

We were lucky enough to get a table without a booking as they have some non reserved tables. The staff were lovely and very helpful, and fortunately spoke pretty good English. My husband is coeliac and the starter and main were GF. However, due to...More

Visited with friends for an Easter lunch. Even with reservation, we had a terrible time with being sitted and with the service. On the other hand, the food (entrees and rices) were very good and the view compensates the waiting time. I would consider it...More

Close to the Barceloneta beach, it's a large restaurant. You could think the place is small then you arrive, but the terrace on first floor is large. They are specialised in rice, so a few different sorts of paella are available (although there is a...More

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in

No more, no less than right on the seafront, a place where you can taste the best paellas and fish in Barcelona, while enjoying magnificent views of the Sant Sebastià beach in La Barceloneta. The star ingredients are indisputably the fresh fish from the market and the organic, locally sourced produce. Barraca’s terrace, at the heart of the seafront promenade, is another of its great attractions. It invites you to stay and contemplate the landscape, while you savor the dishes closest to our gastronomic tradition. Unmissable, whichever way you look at it.
