Very nice service and really good food in a beautiful environment: El Born neighbourhood. Anyway, we booked throught TripAdvisor expecting a 30% off in the price (as it was advertised in TripAdvisor) but at the moment to pay we couldn't get the discount. Very disappointing...More

Hard to find in back alleys. Nice interior and clean. Service was okay. Clams, potatoes and salami tapas were very good. Octopus, tuna tartare were good, but fish and chips, as called on the menu, was disappointing.

We were so impressed with El Pecat when we first visited in 2013, we made sure we went again this year. Sadly the service was not a patch on the last time. The food was still beautifully presented and very tasty but the restaurant was...More

Just behind Santa Maria del Mar church, hidden in one narrow road, and just around my house corner, is El Pecat. Expect to have a meal with high quality ingredients and not very expensive. Their offer goes from meat to fish tapas, all of them...More

We were skeptical when approached on a street corner by a young lady inviting us to follow her a few corners away. Well, our judgment paid off. The food is delicious and the ambiance feels very intimate. We are very picky but we went here...More

Well worth a visit. Young helpful and friendly staff. Not luxurious but comfortable rustic feeling. You must try the Ox Tail; as the name of the restaurant says: It's a Sin (Pecat in Catalan). If you don't know which wine to order, just ask for...More

This place is great. the setting is far from sophisitcated and the service is casual and very friendly. The food is excellent. We tasted many different dishes and all were either very good or excellent. Good wines and well served gin tonics. The price is...More

Stumbled on this place while very hungry, tired and disillusioned with 'hit restaurant' queues and crowds. Really friendly, great menu, nice room - an understated high quality, good value 'hidden gem'. The guys running it were really enthusiastic and knowledgeable - food was excellent. Try...More

This restaurant just recently opened here on Barcelona. It's a rarity that you would find a young chef, aged 22, who left a Michelen star restaurant in Barcelona to take on running his own with 3 others. This is no easy feat and from what...More

El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent
the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But
this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually
enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few
places that live and breathe such exciting energy
regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood
seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the
city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants
