This was recommended by our limo driver a local Barcelona man. I will keep this simple - You Get>>> Fresh seafood>>> Excellent service>>> Great cooking>>> In summer a nice terrace>>> Expensive [but worth it] I would comeback anytime

One of the best Barcelona fish restaurants set adjacent to the OneOcean Port Vell Marina with brilliant service and amazing views of the SuperYachts. Ramon and his team will really look after you and give you a dining experience to savour. A favourite place to dine with the locals it is highly recommended to pre-book. Give it a try and... More

I was so looking forward to dinner at this restaurant and was sorely disappointed. Everything from the staff, service, and the food was subpar. It's so unfortunate because it is a lovely restaurant that is well appointed, but definitely not worth the price. The wait staff is brusque and the appetizers and paella were just awful. Very disappointing, especially since... More

We looked forward to re-visiting this restaurant after a 3 year period. The first problem was not the fault of the restaurant! As was the case 3 years ago Barcelona taxi driver do not have any idea of how to find Barceloneta even when the hotel wrote out the address, phone number & directions!! But Barcelona taxis are another issue!... More

We went there tonight upon the recommendation of the hotel concierge. The food was delicious but for the price not very plentiful (says this NYer). The service left something to be desired. While not overtly rude, they seemed to rush us and were troubled to answer our questions. Best to go elsewhere.

Visited here with colleagues last week while on a business trip. I have to admit I'm not a seafood lover but thought I would give a fish restaurant a go as we were in Barcelona! We tried quite a number of dishes: starting with jambon, bread, olives and croquettes (all delicious!) we then moved on to a seafood paella. We... More

Very nice location. The views are spectacular, but the servings are very small. Considering the amount of food served and the price range of this place, it is highly overpriced. You will leave with your wallet empty and possibly not a full stomach.

Service was attentive and friendly and they didn't bat an eyelid when I ordered red wine to go with my fish. Croquettes to start...nice but nothing special. Clams were such a small portion that my husband was still hungry afterwards. My cannelloni, whilst tasty was like warm. My fish was taken off the bone and lovely. No offer of vegetables... More

Had a great diner with first a great combi of small bites. The sea snails were something I did not try before. As a main I tried tuna tataki which was great. Others enjoyed paellas or steak. They have many fish options and seafood such as lobsters etc. Interior is pretty with several walls fulls of wine.

We were a large group and had several different menu items. Everything was wonderfully prepared but didn't blow us away. The view and the atmosphere were what took this from a good meal to a great meal. Of course the wines were delightful! Try to sit so you will get a view of the marina.

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighbourhood Profile
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
