Why people go to fast food places when there are fabulous little bars like this amazes me. Found this place off La Rambla, small and friendly. We had 4 drinks and 5 dishes the bill came to €30. I much prefer these places than the larger establishments who to me just seem to want you in and out. The little... More

On a side way of the ramblas. Small but typical Spanish tapas restaurant. Lovely tapas. Great food for reasonable price.

Not so great. Reviews were good but the place was yucky and food was ok. Service was wonderful thought. Very nice staff. Would not go back.

I honestly do not understand why one person (only one) bothers to write a negative review when all the other reviews (and I really mean all the other reviews) are either very good or excellent. It is either a case of all other reviewers not understanding much about cuisine or bad personal taste of one reviewer (probably the latter....). This... More

It is extremely hard to understand the previous comments. This is just a standard touristic place with the same semi-industrial food as almost anywhere else in this area of the city: greasy tapas and so on. There is no reason to get there. In addition I strongly suspect they cheated with the reviews in some way or another. You can... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
