We visited the restaurant as a group of seven. We were greeted by the serving staff at the door who introduced us to the menu. We were seated outside in the lovely barcelona ambiance. The serving staff were patient when taking orders from our large group who had difficult individual requests. We were very satisfied and the standard of food... More

Fantastic little find... After walking a little from where we was staying we decided that we would go to this restaurant .. We sat out side and right away the waiting staff were over to give us menus, the food was really good and probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Also the dessert were really nice too,... My wife and i were out exploring Barcelona on a rainy evening and stopped in for a quick pizza and glass of wine. The meal was the most disappointing that we had in Barcelona every way. The service was slow and totally indifferent - the pizza was hot but bland and had little flavor, the wine was tart - and... More

I was in the area looking for a place to eat pasta. I found this little, quite and stylish restaurant by pure chance, and I loved it. They basically offer pizza and pasta, and the quality is well above average. Midday menu available.

Nice pizza which was cheap. It was close to our hotel and you can't really go wrong with a pizza from a wood burning oven. Has a small outdoor eating area.

The location is great if you are near Paseo de Gracia. Service is attentive and warm as well as efficient. The ingredients of meals have quality and there is variety to choose from. Pizza is typical italian, thin and crispy and arrives hot at the table. There is a good selection of wines and beers to choose from as well as... More

Il Pomo D'Oro offers a fixed price menu including salad, pizza, beverage, and dessert. With over 40 varieties of pizza and 20 different salads, it is easy to find a pizza and salad to your liking. The pizzas are thin crust, Italian pizzas, and are delicious. The restaurant was busy, but the service was efficient, and, most importantly, the food... More

Nice staff, great foods, very reasonable. This is a nice place to rab a bite. The place was very clean and close to all the high end shopping. We sat inside and it was very quite instead of the hustle bustle of the street seating. Would recommend this place highly.

Thought daily menu deal price would mean poor quality but was fabulous, tasty and authentic Italian food. Great service and surroundings. Recommended for lunch or dinner.

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
