We found this bar by accident late last Thursday evening what a brilliant place. Small cosy, oak panels all round and full of local people it's great not to mention the excellent cocktails we had mojito and G&T both superb. Will be back!

I had read a few reviews about this bar and they were all correct. What a great place ! We visited on three occasion and the bartenders remembered exactly what we drank. This is very much a local "Cheers" and they make everyone feel welcome. I drink Jack Daniels on the rocks and it cannot be fixed bad. My wife... More

We went here for a few cocktails whilst on holiday in Barcelona! The two guys behind the bar were super friendly and the customer service was all round superb!! We were told that there was no menu but to tell them what we wanted and they'd make it no problem! The bar is very small and got busy very quickly,... More

Personally our favourite cocktail bar in Barcelona, we ended up going to 4/5 cocktail bars whilst we were out there. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

We were told by friends to try Boadas on our recent trip to Barcelona and could not have been more pleased to find such an unspoilt, fabulous little cocktail bar. Walking through the door, we were immediately transported back to the 1930s, the era in which the bar first opened. It is so rare, these days, to find a place... More

The oldest cocktail bar in Spain... opened on 1933 - hasn't changed hands since then. Grandfather to mother to grandson. Mother was second only woman to be Head cocktail bar person at a time when women still weren't allowed to drink in bars!! Great history - fabulous cocktails and the most enthusiastic and dedicated Head barman in the lovely Adal.... More

Lovely cocktail bar which we read up on trip advisor before our visit. Would recommend a visit here! although its very small inside (only allows around 30 people in at a time). No menu! The staff knew exactly what cocktail it was you asked for! Lovely visit - would go again.

We went there mid week around 23.00. It was full but despite this the service was good. A bit pricey.

This cocktail bar has been around forever and is really worth the visit. My wife and I dropped in before going out for the evening - I asked for the list and was told by the batman "I am the list!" And so right he was (you have to remember that being a barman or waiter is a profession here... More

My friend and I went here after reading mixed trip advisor reviews. It was our first time in Barcelona and everyone else on our 4 day trip had been lovely, during that time we tried to speak our mediocre Spanish. On entering the bar, as it was a cocktail bar we asked for a menu we were "greeted" with "no... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
