We had been here for coffee the day before and after a disappointing dinner out the previous evening we decided to go back to a place which seemed local in the midst of visitors. We had the menu dia for 11Euros each including bread, salad, main, dessert & wine. It did not disappoint...the food was flavourful and well prepared; the... More

The dining room is eclectic, cozy and charming in its own way. Service is friendly and efficient until the place fills up and we struggled to get and pay the bill. The menu del dia is excellent value. We can recommend the grilled rabbit and pulpitos, small squid in a tomato sauce. Our only complaint was they forgot the allioli... More

Wandered into this place because we saw the Jamon in the window, but ended up getting pulpo (octopus) and paella del casa. Without a doubt, some of the best paella I've ever had. Typical of all restaurants in Barcelona, the pace is slower than we are used to, BUT this is Spain. Relax and enjoy. There was a huge wedding... More

This place has an organisation issue and a staff issue. My young son and I got a table and the menu immediately, but the waiter told us the table was his colleague´s. The restaurant was half empty, so we were not expecting to take long. However, the waitress was not seen until ten minutes later but even then she didn´t... More

We found this restaurant while walking around Barri Gotic and it was a nice surprise! The menu del dia costs 10 eur (2 dishes, bread, dessert and drink), it's really great value for money. The paella I had was delicious. I would highly reccomend this place!

We stopped here for lunch on the recommendation of our Segway tour guide. Very much a locals place; they were served and got their lunches quickly (probably because they were on their lunch break), while it took a while for us. Great paella and nice menu though. The food was excellent!

I spotteded the Jambons hanging in the window and went in. It is a combined bar and restaurant, and it was populated with locals and very few tourists. Food was excellent, the steak was tasty, jucy and well grilled. After this steak all vegetarian considerations is dead. Your will stick to beef. One large cup of coffee and some of... More

....they must be absolutely fantastic!! A typical Spanish restaurant - some people at the bar having a drink, others at tables eating - just what we want. Food a bit slow in coming but we weren't bothered - this is Spain and you don't have to have things instantly. Service was excellent and food - well, superb really doesn't describe... More

We ordered three solomillo, medium. After a long time waiting we were happy. But then.. one of the sirloin steaks was dry and very weldone.. so they changed that one. But when the steak came this time it was almost raw... I mentioned this again but we could not wait again... so we shared the two good ones. At the... More

After four nights in a row with seafood and fish we decided to have steaks for dinner and we popped in La Concha. Excellent atmosphere, busy and lively, but waiters were helpful and friendly. We had lamb, cooked in different ways, and it was all delicious. Do try the Supernova wine (from Ribera del Duero region): velvety, delicate, tasty.
