After a long walk to the church we found this restaurant. The children were hungry so we decided to Go inside. We knew it was a bit early 18:30 and almost every restaurant opens at 19:00 with a lot of staff. We went inside and a man showed us to a table. But after that he went away and we... More

We have read your comment carefully and we have investigated what happened: the person who received them is in charge of the reception, their English is not fluent enough so we thought it was better to have a person who has the most advanced language. We have friends from different parts of the world who visit us every year, it... More

We are very sorry that they had this negative experience. Our meats are of the highest quality, it is very strange what has happened. We will be working on our service, do not know who has attended, but our waiters are not usually rude. We apologize a lot for your experience and even if you do not consider it we... More

The food at the restaurant was amazing and the wine prices pretty reasonable. Service was not the best but as soon as we sat down a party of 10 followed by 20 came in back to back. Other than that I would definitely come back. The quail and duck that I ordered was great. Check them out if you are... More

I moved to Barcelona 5 days ago and I'm trying many restaurants but at the moment this one is the best one. I think in terms of meat is one of the best in Barcelona. The staff is really friendly, the owner as well and the food is delicious. Try the foie gras with fried egg and fries as a... More

This restaurant became our favorite in Barcelona. The very friendly service and outstanding fare, particularly the steaks, drew us back repeatedly.

Comfortable and the food was good. I was on a group lunch so I can't say about the prize but from the starters to the dessert everything was fine.

El Foro is clearly a popular restaurant with tourists and locals alike. We were lucky to get a table when we arrived at 8pm but there was a fairly constant stream of people standing waiting to be seated while we were there. Our waitress was very polite and friendly (the Maitre de was also buzzing about) and she spoke very... More

We spend an evening at El Foro - 4 people. The aged T bone steack (premium) was not a T-Bone and of very basic quality. The waiter did not even ask for the cooking of the meet (it came well done!) and then we found 5 mistakes in our bill. So it is definitely over rated and the owner do... More

Good afternoon, we apologize for your experience. We take out the steak (red) and we have a translation in the English letter that does not correspond to T-BONE but yes chuletón. All our products are carefully selected and high quality. So we are puzzled with your experience and please apologize.   Best regards. More

Description
"A place where gastronomy, art and culture come together"

An Argentinean restaurant in "El Born", Barcelona

The restaurant has the appearance of a French bistro, the ambience and decor are part of its charm, but above all, what makes it special and what explains the resounding success is that it is an Argentine restaurant in Barcelona, that offers quality –and price.

We offer an extensive menu with meats imported from Argentina, famous for its cut, taste and quality; handmade pastas; pizzas and grilled cheeses (like the famous provolone) . At noon, from Tuesday to Friday, we offer a menu of Mediterranean fusion cuisine, comprising a cream soup followed by a starter ,main course and desserts . Drinks are also included. There are four types of meat on the menu, these include an authentic Argentinean grill called "Criollo", plus another grill from the La Pampa region called "Pampero" and the Patagonian mixed Grill.

The restaurant has a few private rooms for groups, located on the main floor. In the cellar, known as "El Foro Club" is a space available for a more intimate dinner or simply to have a drink.

El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants.
