Fresh local tapas and good wine. You must make a reservation because there ara allways a lot of people. The best: fresh products (meat, fish or vegetables). The staff is funny.

I found this to be an authentic tapas experience which is exactly what we were looking for. Waiter very helpful in picking the right dishes for us and the right amount of food. The decor was lovely with a cool atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

We wandered in as a group of 12 without a reservation in the afternoon looking for some lunch. The restaurant is small (we took up half of it), but the staff rearranged some tables quickly and sat us down in minutes. The wine and beers were lovely, the waiter told us he'd bring a selection of tapas. What an amazing... More

Excellent, but pricey tapas in a tiny wine bar. A wide variety of unusual and very tasty tapas...we especially liked the steak and lobster options. The only downside is that its pretty cramped.

Enjoyed very much the different frm usual tapas offerings such as fois gras bruschettas, tuna tartar w avocados, blood sausage croquettes. cozy feel reminiscent of a french bistro, except with a funky touch in the form of a mirror disco ball. Must call to make reservations! Just off the main passeig de gracia stretch so quite easy to find.

We had lunch yesterday with some friends. Bar mut is a cosy restaurant where you can enjoy relaxed traditional Catalan cuisine with a twist . Their philosophy is based on platillos , small dishes to share. We had as starters: delicious spinach salad with figues, pine seeds and Torta del casar cheese, oysters, vieiras a la Parmesana, navajas, octopus, egg... More

We stopped in Bar Mut for a drink following a busy morning exploring the surrounding area. Unfortunately the kitchen had just closed (4pm) but we enjoyed a drink whilst resting our feet. Was busy with locals, and we were welcomed in. A good place to stop for a relaxing drink.

I can understand it is said this is a trendy place. Vintage is on fashion, and wine bars too. However the food is not half the quality they must think according to the price they ask for. Same issue with the wines. A part from the price issue the place is really narrow. Acceptable for having a drink but not... More

This restaurant offers no menu, waiter advises what to eat. We had similar experience in "Cal Pep" but it was much more pleasent. Everthing we asked he said they didn't have. Basically hetried to get us expensive dishes which we took. for three dishes we chilled out 100 euro and another 20 euro drinks while waiting for the table, I... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
