This is not a cheap restaurant. When you go here you know you will pay more than in an usual 13e menu restaurant(at least double). But all you will pay is worth: quality and quantity, tradicional food and good service. The place is so quite and you never have that sensation of a crowded room.

I ventured here with a group of study abroad college students visiting Barcelona for the weekend. Obviously, not the main clientele for this restaurant but we were looking for something nicer to cap our trip. Only one other group in the restaurant when we entered on a Saturday night. Just a little awkward, but service was expedient, pleasant, and had... More

This is an old restaurant which started like a common place for workers and it has developed to be very high class. Their menu is very complete, good fish, excellent seafood and wonderful meats. It was founded by a couple from the north of Spain, from Galicia, which is a place where food has great variety. Their service is impeccable,... More

Somehow I feel this restaurant has some potential but it is along way away and needs one big changes. I walked in to the entrance bar area and it already felt awkward. When we asked to see the menu they handed us these huge oversized menus which just felt off with taster menu options that felt out of place and... More

You will arrive and think you are the only one in the Restorante and while that may be true don't be swayed. The service is tops and the food is great Do yourself a favour and visit this place for the food, Jameson's and the truffles desert! You will not be disappointed!

Outstanding Catalan cuisine. Tremendous flavor without pretense. Great pricing honored reservations. Superb fishermen's paella.

Good value cafe with 3 course lunch for €10. Food is basic but enjoyable and well worth the money. Would definitely lunch here again but English menu would help

Truly truly awful place. There were 4 of us and we all ordered different things (seafood, pork, steak and pallela) and all four dishes were really poor. The steak was particularly bad - it felt old! Pork rinds were disgusting. Nothing good to say about this place at all.

Comfortable with excellent service, but our meals were bland and extremely over priced. Not terrible, just disappointing. After 2 weeks in Spain easily the worst meal.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
