Typical place for travellers without food passion! Restaurant is formed of two unit. one at first floors more intimate / cozy and groun floor more noisy. Although , first floor was open but full empty , waitress , has insisted so much to stay at ground floor probably for her confort but not for owner business. Food real trivial without... More

We began sitting outside but moved inside as the sun was very hot. Set in the lovely prasa de Fonseca, the situation is restful and interesting. the food good and the waitress friendly

Nice place, but the beef steak was quite dry and the octopus too soft (a bit overcooked). They charge for bread without even asking you at the beginning if you want or not. The desserts, crème caramel, supposedly were made at the restaurant, but we felt they were from an outside supplier. Generally service was good, but it is a... More

On Praza Fonseca, one of the most delightful small prazas in the old city. We sat inside at a small table in the bar. There is seating outside and also a full service restaurant on the next floor. The ground floor prices are lower and the stand-up bar prices even lower. The plates we had were very tasty and the... More

Lovely little bar restaurant centrally located. We just visited for a drink and tapa before going for dinner. The atmosphere was lively and service efficient. All the tapa was freshly prepared, including the Spanish Omelette. Although our stay was short, a pleasant way to start the evening.

Lovely tapas. Good quality. Large portions. Perhaps over ordered given the size. Waiter extremely good and friendly. Table indoors to stave off the fierce midday sun. Would happily recommend

We had lunch here today for our first visit. Often disappointed with the quality of the food in Santiago, not today! The steamed mussels were superb as were the pimientos de padron and the oven cooked octopus. Really excellent service too which is so often lacking here in Santiago. We were made so welcome by various members of staff and... More

I really loved my stay in Santiago and I was delighted to dine in San Jaime. My friend was a little sick so she ate a grilled sole that was very fresh and simple as she requested. I ate a portion of prawns and it was very good. I love the cañas of course and the small offers that come... More

we'd read good reviews for this place unfortunately it did not live up to them at all. Poor service and not great food and less atmosphere. We were there about 21.30 admittedly downstairs to check it out and have a few tapas and then decide if we would eat in their restaurant. We left not even finishing our wine or... More
