Went there for a drink with my boyfriend. My glass was not clean so I decided to clean it myself with a kleenex (bad choice). I wanted to order two portion of churros (prices being indicated per unit in their menu) and I was advised that the minimum portion is 5. Later, the waiter offered us two churros burned and... More

Right down the road from the catedral, this is a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. POSITIVES: > Prompt and energetic table service. > Superb location besides the busy shopping/food street > Good decor inside > Food: Sangria, Croquettes, Sample Paella and Galician pie are very nice. > Padrian peppers were not hot but tastey TO... We were walking and decided to have lunch. Among several options, we entered Méson Cestaños. Very good Jamon Serrano and Galicia Octopus. Wine: Rias Baixas Albariño. But the service is very slow.

Coffee was terribly poor. Furthermore, they added 50 cents for an ice glass! Otherwise, a jar of beer with a half part of foam. Horrible. About service, very poor. Waiters seems embittered and were no helpful. The only good side is the location.

Good place to have a quick plate of food, a cup of wine and a coffee. The waiter was attentive and helpful. I recommend it to anyone that needs a quick bite to eat.

Situated at a very busy junction, with lots of passing traffic. Service was ok. We had 2 Ensalada Mixta, water, tea, coffee and a glass of red wine, which came to €29. Nothing exceptional. While we ate we were approached by 4 different beggars. Staff don't seem to do anything to discourage begging (perhaps they're fed up with the number... More

Tourist trap BUT at least you do get the free tapas to go with the drinks, which are slightly more expensive than other bars in the area. A lot of outside seating that gets the late afternoon sun and a good place to people watch on one of the intersections of pedestrian roads leading in to the old town.

Had a very pleasant lunch here comprising 3 coffees, a beer, Galician pie, a plate of steamed clams and 8 small scallops. The bill came to just under €50 which for the location was fine.
