It was a typical rainy day in Santiago. We were soaked to the bones and looked for a restaurant close to the university. Trip Advisor suggested Terra Nosa, a Galician food restaurant with excellent reviews. My wife and I asked for the anchovies fillet as...entries and they were so large they seemed sardines! Beautiful in a pinkish tone that reflected how fresh they were. Then, we shared a caldeirada with turbot and hake (rodaballo and merluza) that was amazing, cooked to a perfect point and lightly seasoned to let you pick every flavor in the dish. For dessert, we asked for a perfect chocolate coulant. Take note that due to the quality of the produce, it can be an expensive meal; nevertheless, it is well worth the price.More

I dont understand that this place is not better known. It is of course a bit off the beaten path (not in the tourist area) The atmosphere is great. Limited number of tables (so reserve). The waiter (I suppose it was the owner ) is...efficient and helpful. and what is more, the food is fantastic. Best meal we had in Santiago. Try the zamburinas. the closest you will be to God.More

We were 10 people and shared the very best seafood and some superb wines. Extremely efficient and friendly personnel. I'll go back!

Yes, this place is really nice, quite and high quality. But I think it's more expensive than $$-$$$. We had two starters, two main courses, one bottle of wine and two waters for 112€ and we did not order the most expensive stuff.

One of the best restaurants in Santiago. We reserved for 11 people at 8:30 and one of our requests were ... do you have Dom Perignon champagne? they said no but that they would get it for us. We were celebrating The end of our...walk. It is a very small cozy restaurant and quiet. We could all talk and be heard. Live lobster and fresh seafood along with beautiful cuts of meat were available. Generous portions. Delicious bread with soft cheese cubes to spread. A nice diversion from butter. The pork shoulder with turnip greens were especially made for us and delicious. My husband's steak with mushrooms and peppercorns was one of his favorites. Lamb chops were succulent and finger licking. After dessert and coffee, the house treated us to three types of ice cold cordials. Don't miss going to this little gem of a restaurant.More

Starting the evening off for this restaurant. We were the first customers to arrive. It was quiet and they weren't quite ready for us but things got into the swing rather quickly. We started the evening off with a delicious sangria, one of the best...I've had so far in Spain! Our choices were Monk Fish, Prawns in garlic and sirloin steak with mushrooms. No mistakes made at this table. The monk fish was tender and delicious in flavor. The prawns were beyond the best tasting with very clean taste with toasted garlic. The steak was mouthwatering and could have probably been easily cut with a butter knife. I would highly recommend and would visit again when in Santiago again.More

Although we did not have reservation, we tried our luck based on fellow TripAdvisor contributors. They offer both great seafood and meat, but seems to have one of best seafood cuisine we ever tried. They have quite many options, but the monk-fish is memorable. Nice...wine recommended by waiter and price is pretty OK for the quality. Some locals were trying beef and was very good looking.More

I really lack a sense of direction despite the help of Google Map. I roamed the street and finally made it to the restaurant. It is the opposite to other restaurants near Cathedral.

The food and service were excellent. But it should show on TripAdvisor as 4x in the price category. Still worth going to this hard to find restaurant.

Almost like a private club but really amiable. They make you feel at home and offer superb suggestions of truly great seafood dishes (I didn't try the great looking meats). Intimate, modern, imaculate and absolutely wonderful cuisine... Oysters amazing, scallops OMG, and Rape Negro (best...monkfish I've ever tasted without doubt). Cannot wait to return.More
