Visited last week whilst in Gib for lunch. Staff were good and friendly. Food was not so unfortunately. Cheap quality served only luke warm. Yuk!! Quite expensive for what they served. Wouldn't visit again. 👎

Me and my family visited the canon bar on Friday (really wish we hadn't) the board on main street advertised 'Best Fish and chips' jesus christ they were awful the chips were greasy and the fish tasted like plywood and it wasn't cheap either. My advise if you visit Gibraltar DO NOT EAT OR DRINK HERE !!!!

Went for lunch here with my son and my husband when on a day trip to Gibraltar. We all ordered fish and chips but we were really disappointed. The food was all cooked from frozen and tasteless. Not sure if we hit a bad day there but on the basis of what we had verses the cost I personally would... More

On a visit to Gibraltar and in need of a drink as it was very hot. Saw the Cannon Bar had empty tables so sat down. After 10 minutes finally got the attention of one of the waitress's (who had not served anybody in this time!) only to be told "wait a minute" as she walked off. We walked off... More

We had fish and chips. It was not very nice and the service was very slow. We were waiting for the food even we were the only guests, after for the bill and return. Just waiting. Sorry to say but nothing special.

Have you ever had a burger lacking the salat and dressing on? I mean just the bun and a piece of meat. Try Cannon bar. Regarding the cleanless of the kitchen see headings.

Found the place when on shore from a cruise ship. Situated one block up the hil behind marks&Spencer. Wanted a light eat. Nice service from the waitress. From our observations she was fluent in several languages. Had a nice (large) soup, with bread and coffees. Nicely priced and nicely taste. They even had a nice sun. Also serving mash&bangers and... Great little bar just off main street, locals use this bar so always a good sign, food absolutely great, massive portions at a reasonable price. A bit more relaxed than the bars on Main Street
