Omg. I’m a sushi lover and degustator, from the bad qualities to the best. THIS IS BAD. I ordered the 20 euros croquetas they where cold (came from frozen) sushi was ugh bad made.. too much rice.. little effort at all. BAD BAD BAD. Can’t...believe I payed 80 euros for two crappy plates I could have got on carrefour.More
Absolutely amazing food. So cheap compared to if you had that in London. Staff really lovely and welcoming. Would go back again and again. Such a fab find. Family run and just the best food. Definitely one to try whilst in Madrid.
The food was sensational and the Kobe beef is just melting in your mouth. Unreal! The service was super nice, friendly and professional. This place has exceptional value for money and I can not recommend it enough. If you want a fun night out with...great food this is the place to go.More

We had one of the best Shabu shabu I have ever tried! Excellent meat and vegetables and my wife loved the Ponzu sauce.
Thank you so much!!! See you next week! Koko
Have been celebrating Valentines day in Shinatoraya. Very delicious, including excellent sushi, sashimi and kobe beef, prepared in hot pot. Unfortunately, the place is a bit tiny, and obviously, the booking service is not the best here, cause finally we completed the dinner and were...virtually pushed out, 5 or 6 couples just standing over our heads. Waiter has even refused to bring the tea:). Also, there is no bill and you are paying according to the figure shown on the phone screen, which in my case was a bit different (higher), than I expected. Once again, food fantastic!More
Thank you so much for your visit on Valentines day which is very special day. We ALL KNOW that we couldn't have give te best service we could. Specially reservation system. We are on the way to fix all of them and we promise you...More
Another excellent experience. Better than before. Love coming here and taste of food is always good. Recommended to all the Japanese food lovers.
Me and my family came here to madrid from Japan for vacation and we missed Japanese food. So we were passing calle de Claudio Coello and we found here! It was surprisingly great. We took some sushi and Sukiyaki with Japanese wagyu. I still remember...the taste of gyoza de wagyu.haha The waitress were Japanese so we could speak in Japanese. Great service as Japan. We will definitely come back when we are in Madrid! Thank you so much! Arigatougozaimasu.More
The venue is really nice, with a fantastic music (jazz, soul) and a very interesting menu. We didn’t order waygu that is their speciality, but saw in other tables that it looked really tasty. Service was 10/10 and the food was well prepared, good quality...products and delicious. We tried the gyozas, fly me to the moon and sushi. It’s a little expensive but worth the try. The sake brownie with macha tea icecream is wonderful. Looking forward to go back and try the waygu.More
Really looked forward to trying this place out. And we were not disappointed. Wonderful menu and extremely helpful staff. We had a great time. And will be back soon.
Excellent restaurant for real Japanese wagyu beef.I like this place. For me best restaurant in Madrid. If you go there you should try sukiyaki and there sushi.
We were there on valentine's day. We were welcomed by the waiter and waitress at the entrance.Nice environment and set up. Good food and service by the staffs.Price is reasonably high.ONE THING I MUST MENTION, and it took me by surprise and it made me...feel so sad after seeing something like this. There was this guy(probably the owner, because he looks like the boss) he was shouting and yelling at the staffs continuously. He seemed so angry all the time and looks like he has lost his mind. I have been to many restaurants and never seen anything like this. This guy was shouting at the staffs in front of the clients, and at one point he even slapped a waiter. I can understand that in a busy situation like this, the staffs have to work fast and efficiently, but this is not the way to manage your employees(how you manage your employees-that's your business but they are not your slaves and you can not treat them like this, unacceptable in 21st century, this is not the slave era anymore)he seemed so rude to me and i even noticed that when the waiters are serving food or explaining something to the clients, he stopped them and told them to stay away. What kind of restaurant is this? Is this the character of an elegant restaurant?I don't understand. We have been to their other restaurant in London, and it was really nice. I was expecting something like that here as well but after seeing this, I don't know if i am going back there again. I feel sorry for employees. Maybe other clients won't agree with me but I wish i had not experienced this circumstances. If i haven't seen this, maybe it would have been a great experience for us and i would have given 5 stars. To the management- please treat your employees with respect, so that they can show their efficiency, paying them at the end of the month doesn't mean everything. Sometimes a good conversation or just a smile could help your employees to improve their self confidence.More
We had passed the restaurant while walking around one evening and noticed the great descriptions of the dishes. Later on a month or 2, We were craving Asian food and remembered Shinatoraya and decided to try it out. We were not disappointed, from the appetizers...to the main dishes everything had great flavor. The service was friendly and welcoming when we walked in and throughout the entire dinner! The atmosphere with the tranquil music was devine. We enjoyed a great dinner and had a fabulous time. The flavors and smell definitely reminded of us Tokyo.More
We’ve visited this restaurant in december and it was a blast! we had the Wagyu Beef Barbecue which was delicious! The Wagyu Gyoza were the best I ever had. The sauces were tasty as well! It was just a perfect, authentic dinner from the starters...to the dessert!More
