We had the best dinner at El Arrozal. The owner took so much pride in the food, presentation and service. Two of us are gluten free and the food was incredible. It was so nice to eat paella and bread and have it all gluten...More

This is the type of restaurant where you know the recipes have all been passed down by somebody's grandmother. They had gluten free bread and everything on the menu was available gluten free. My husband really liked his paella although the vegetables were better than...More

Every time we visit Madrid we debate going to this restaurant and we finally decided to go. So many good reviews can't be wrong. Well, they were! The server started out very rude- she pretended not to understand our Spanish and then proceeded to complain...More

My coeliac husband was desperate to try paella on our recent trip to Madrid but I was wary as I know a lot of restaurants use shop-bought stock which may contain gluten. Given the severity of his condition, we googled 'gluten free paella Madrid' and...More

Our family had a great experience dining here. They seated us outdoors on a pleasant evening, and were very attentive to our large group. The paella was excellent, perhaps none better in Spain. I would love to go back and try their other dishes.

Went here for a late night dinner after googling 'best paella in Madrid' and El Arrozal came up.  We ordered a mixed valencian style paella and two tinto de Veranos. Whilst I can't say the taste equalled that of Paella we have had in Valencia...More

This place was a bit hard to find, but was worth it. I was using google maps and walked right by it twice because it's hidden in a nook in the street. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but inside it's very quaint...More

I had heard good things about this restaurant’s celiac-safe procedures and menu, and we went because we were excited to try safe, gluten-free Spanish food. When we arrived, the owner’s wife was our waitress and she was very dismissive about my questions regarding what on...More

They make a really nice gluten free paella and the attention of the owners and people who work there is worth it! I had the best gluten free bread I've ever eaten there!!

La Latina
La Latina is a charming neighbourhood with two unique
personalities. At first glance, it’s distinctly
old-world, with narrow streets weaving a maze among
charming stone buildings in sunny, bright colors like
yellow and pink. The other side of La Latina is
characterized by a young population and a bohemian
vibe, as evidenced by a dynamic and evolving selection
of new bars, shops, coworking spaces, and other
