The chicken satay skewers and the pork in green curry sauce are a must order in this perfect date-night or fun group outing restaurant. When the dish is marked by a 3chili sign the dish is extremely spicy. Fantastic flavors and spices abound in this small and stylish restaurant. This room buzzes with people socializing and enjoying Thai cuisine, all... More

All in all a good experience ... Appetisers and entrees were very good. Interesting tea selections, particularly the Oolong offerings. Options for wine by the glass were on the plain side.

We wanted Thai food for our last night in Madrid and cannot decide whether we would go to Thai Orchid or Krachai. Thai Orchid is closer to where we stay so we checked the restaurant out first. At 9pm on a hot Tuesday night. The restaurant had a group of 10 or 12 what look like a Thai tourist group.... More

The quality of the food is quite good. Service could be better. They serve the tipical Thai dishes (all waht we had was delicious) and have some other more sophisticated proposition not that well executed. It is too expensive for what it is.

This is quite simply my favourite Thai restaurant in Madrid. The restaurant is decorated beautifully with an obvious Thai theme. It has a relaxing and quiet atmosphere with soft Thai music playing in the background. There is an upstairs and downstairs to this restaurant. The service staff are very polite and softly spoken. The menu provides an array of classic... More

I used to work beside this restaurant. It's ideal for lunch or dinner. Relaxing environment and nice food. I'd come back.

Don't go to those fake Asian food restaurants just because these so-called foodies from this town are taking about them or Instagram makes their chefs look like celebrities. If you are up for a good thai food, this is the place to be. Why? Because the food here tastes good and they are real. (Not these horrible imitation of fake Asian... More

I have been to Krachai twice, the first time the impression was very good but the second the food was average, not sure if I'd go again.

Wonderful Thai food in the vibrant Chueca neighborhood - highly recommend. Chicken satay and taste menu a wonderful way to sample menu.

Staying in Chueca

Neighbourhood Profile
Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
