Very authentic place. On friday evening it is so full of locals and lively that it is hard to hear your own voice. Prices rather low. Food is good. Worth a visit.

Went because of the rating. For the price, food is very good and big servings. Bought a "huevos rotos" (broken eggs) for two, and it was delicious. Recommended. Simple restaurant, nothing fancy.

Had a drink and some tapas in the bar downstairs, which was a bit better than the normal quality we had found. Upstairs in the restaurant, however, was a disappointment. The set menu had 3 interesting dishes, which was why we chose it, but those...More

Found this gem by chance as the crowd downstairs was out to the doorway and we thought that it was full, but the restaurant proper is upstairs and it's a beauty. the staff food and service is brilliant.

Great little place, with a lovely local vibe. We had a cheese and ham toasties and and American breakfast and it was as expected for a little cafe like this. We didn't choose traditional food.....I needed a good feed. :D All in all very helpful...More

I took breakfast here. Tortilla and coffee were good. Bussy bar with a good menu for travellers. Atmosphere is very good. Close to a Sartender cash machine.

This is a place that you can go that has something for everyone. I've gone for years and, with the exception of two times, have always been well received. The last two times were excellent, well above par. It has become trendy, so a reservation...More

Forget what some others say - this tapas place is great! OK, it's not the cleanest food joint you've ever seen, it's very crowded and there's little for committed vegans. But, read the words "tapas" - I don't come here for sushi or a macrobiotic...More

Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where
many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where
the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and
people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main
thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is
Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables
serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture
of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses
