The food here was great and the staff very accommodating but they don’t serve soft drinks and their alcohol was also limited. I really enjoyed everything on the menu. We ordered the jamon iberico sandwich, caramelized egg with potato, and the eggs/pork over chips. Everything...More

On entering I was surprised by the warm welcome. After that by the nice food and the good wine. The word ‘authentic’ comes to mind, whatever that may be. Anyway, just go.

A place with character- very noisy, busy and with the original decoration. Food is honest, tasty and affordable. Staff effective, although not over friendly. The “huevos rotos” are delicious. The only disappointment: they do not have ice for drinks!

Amazing 'huevos rotos' (broken eggs) as never you tasted before. We use to visit yearly and never disappoint.

I would never had found this place if it wasn't for my Spanish colleague and friend with his wife. This small tapas restaurant is only a quarter away from the big tourist area but here there are only locals. The restaurant has small wooden tables...More

We called in for lunch on the basis of the amount of locals using this taberna. The food was good and the service quick.

We were won over by this restaurant from the first night we visited - with such an authentic decor and friendly, efficient staff, the queue you sometimes face to get a table is more than worth it. Tucked away on its own, you could easily...More

Our family spent five days in Madrid in first week of July. We ate our evening meal here 3 out of the five nights it was so good. The staff are lovely and welcoming. Food is really good and reasonably priced. One of our favourites...More

We found this very cute wine and tapas bar, whilst waiting for our AIRBNB host...for an apartment that was just 4 metres away. What a find. Authentic food and great wine selection (the sign and business cards lists : fine wines). Helpful staff (in Spanish)....More

La Latina
La Latina is a charming neighbourhood with two unique
personalities. At first glance, it’s distinctly
old-world, with narrow streets weaving a maze among
charming stone buildings in sunny, bright colors like
yellow and pink. The other side of La Latina is
characterized by a young population and a bohemian
vibe, as evidenced by a dynamic and evolving selection
of new bars, shops, coworking spaces, and other
