A guide recommended this place to have breakfast in a very local and charming setting, otherwise we would have never found it as we even walked passed it while searching. Everything is very authentic and down to earth: Simple tables, simple menu (only in Spanish), and very basic decorations. But the food is amazing: We had a great Toast with... More

I have been there many times & I love it!! Food is really good, you can choose from more then 10 options & mix it the way you like. The place is small but cozy and is definitely worth going. Is one of my favorite restaurants in Madrid. The desserts are also great and you have brunch on Saturdays. Suggestion:... More

I discovered this small restaurant passing by, and the truth is that I love the fact that it's hidden and someone has to tell you about it, or you just have to pass by. It is extremely small ( if I am not mistaken, the capacity is only for 14 people ) but very cosy. It has a big wooden... More

Had a really good experience here. A real small and friendly coffee place. Sandwiches are terrific and the coffee is good. Service is really good too. Loved it!

I used to work beside Olivia and it was my favourite treat. It was the best way to eat healthy and delicious. Very unique flavours and fresh food. I wish the restaurant was bigger though since sometimes you have to share table and it's not something I particularly enjoyed. You can also call and order and pick you food up... More

I am amazed with the technique, but at the same time, simplicity this kitchen has and the way flavours are combined. The product is of high quality and their unique style attracts and retain even the most demanding palates. I strongly recommend booking and trying it. PS: Do not look for privacy: tables are shared between customers. Only 2 tables... More

Staying in Chueca

Neighbourhood Profile
Chueca
Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
