This is what I was looking for when coming to Spain. Delicious morsels of food that won't drain the wallet and cheaply priced drinks. Don't miss the crispy chicken, or for the more adventurous, the Partridge liver. No metal-y taste. Get the red sangria. Even...More

It was our first night in a Madrid and we liked the look of the reviews of this place. Service was very quick & the dishes were good but I wouldn't rate this tapas bar as 'very good' because, in comparison with bars tried on...More

The food was great , little space, but tasty food . We choose menu for 2 persons , small cantity , but very diverse. This is a great choice , if you want to eat something special in the heart of the city .

The Salmorejo soup with crispy bacon crumb was delicious and refreshing. Loved the idea of the vegetable sticks, mixed vegetables wrapped in an Asian spring roll wrap accompanied by a mango sauce. An unusual pairing but it worked. The pulpit (octopus) sitting in a saffron...More

Stumbled on this place by change, and so happy we did. Great choice of tapas and delightful pitcher of sangria, at reasonable prices with friendly service. Go there!

Came here for late lunch. We got the menu for 2, the tapas were small but they were delicious. Full of flavour. Everything we got was perfect. Supposed to come with bottle of wine but I don't drink, so we got the full bottle of...More

One of my picks after doing my research as didn't want to waste time walking up and down the streets not being able to decide. It's easy to miss. As usual it's very small with only a few tables but there a few more in...More

A really wonderful find. You might miss this small Resteraunt but you reply shouldn't, the tapas were simply brilliant, beautifully cooked and presented. The service was very friendly, helpful but never obtrusive, the atmosphere was genuinely charming. It's quite small with some more room at...More

Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once
home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de
Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The
neighbourhood is committed to celebrating its rich
heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes
from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to
them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas
receives a fair amount of spillover from the center —

Nice tavern located on the most central and commercial zone of Madrid (walking distance to la Puerta del Sol and Plaza de Santa Ana). Ideal to make a stop along the way to taste its tapas or to have dinner sitting at one of its small rooms. Very varied menu of Spanish portions and bite-sized appetizers. Kind employees. Kitchen open to the public for directly dealing with the chef. Sangría. Cocktails.
