With the variety of restaurants found on the same street as Inti, you can imagine it is very competitive in terms of food and prices. I gave this place a try as there is a large Peruvian community in Spain, so I figured you will get good authentic food. As soon as you sit down, you get a Papá Huancaina,... More

We had not been to the Inti de Oro in a while, and this last Sunday we paid them a visit. The food was good, as always, and the waiters and waitresses were very nice, again as always. However, we did not appreciate the feeling of being rushed to finish eating. The minute we would put the fork down they... More

This is a lovely Peruvian restaurant in Madrid. As it was our first visit we had the tasting menu, which turned out to be bargain. The food was tasty, plentiful and interesting. The service was friendly and paced just right, and the staff were happy to help out with information about the dishes. This was my husband's favourite meal in Madrid.

This was one of our best meals in Madrid. Discovered pisco sours which were terrific, and the ceviche and fish and chicken in a sauce were excellent. The friendly staff helped with recommendations. It was crowded at lunch time so we returned early when it reopened for dinner and the restaurant was soon full. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful meal with a nice and attentive staff. They were very good at guiding us through the menu. We had Inca cola and it was like being back in Lima. the chicken dish with coconut is something the kids still talk about as being the best chicken dish ever. I agree.

The little restaurant is pretty good with food. Their Ceviche was a tad too tangy for me. I loved their yellow spice sauce. I ordered a sea food mixed platter that had a great yellowish sauce, some brilliant shimps, sea bass and rice. Loved it. The other order was lamb with a bean and sweet coriander sauce. Both the dishes... More

Friendly and extremely fast service even on Saturday evening. The tasting menu is priced now at 22 euros, but it is well worth it. Good pisco sour and Peruvian beers. One of the best meals of the week in Madrid. Highly recommended.

Wandered in not realising it was a Peruvian restaurant. I had sea bass with prawns which was delicious. Pleasant place and friendly service.

We stumbled across this restaurant and not having sampled Peruvian food before,we thought we would give it a try. Started with a Peruvian cocktail, very nice. Before our starter arrived we were given a pre starter of a small bread crumbed ball with meat inside, in a yellow sauce.....delicious! The warm bread we were given had a tasty chilling sauce... Staying in Huertas

Neighbourhood Profile
Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The neighbourhood is committed to celebrating its rich heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas receives a fair amount of spillover from the center — side streets around Plaza Santa Ana take on a foreign party atmosphere at night, and you always see young backpackers navigating the streets — but as you descend into the neighbourhood, everything becomes a little more cramped and slightly less refined, and takes on more of an underground feel. Live music is at the heart of Huertas: by night, its subdued bars are ideal for meeting friends, sipping cocktails, and chatting quietly while enjoying jazz or singer-songwriter performances.
