I read about this place on the 9th floor of the El Corte Ingles Department store in Callao. I wanted an early dinner since we would be jetlagged from our flight and Madrid dines so very late at night. It was perfect! They have a...More

Great option at the end (or during) of shopping, or for an alternative to the cafes. Gourmet Experience offers a variety of cuisine options, several bars, and of course the Gourmet shopping opportunity! I love the sushi and the Mexican food... and the center bar...More

On the ninth floor of the Corte Inglés by Callao is a shopping and dining area similar to Eataly in NYC..displays of some of the best wine Spain has to offer, breads and pastries, cheeses and other gourmet delights for your purchase. There is also...More

Great location on Gran Via but does not have many choices for vegetarians. I was looking for Veg options without eggs or fish. Only one was available which was a Mexican restaurant. Very friendly staff and great nachos (this dish alone was enough for me)....More

Not cheap but worth trying whatever you fancy! But even for someone who comes from Myanmar, quite a lot of dishes here are rather salty!

Worth going for the views alone. On the top floor of El Corte Ingles. Loads of different options for eats or just buy a beer or coffee and sit by the window.

We met friends here the other evening for drinks and watch the sunset over Madrid, the views are breathtaking, the gin and tonics are excellent and there is a wide array of quality goods and tapas.

It's basically an upmarket food court in a shopping centre. The view is okay but it's quite an uninspiring place overall

You're paying for the view here. We were a party of three and each of us ordered from a different vendor (so sampled a variety of the offerings). All of it was sub-standard and over-priced. Better to come here for a drink -- admire the...More

Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street
performers, colorful lights, window shopping,
restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and
churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a
collection of plazas interconnected by a network of
side streets. Some of these side streets are wide
pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so
it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as

The easiest way is to take a cab. It is about 20-30 minutes and will cost 30 to 35 €. The cheapest way would be to take the metro; but you will need to change trains about 3 times, maybe more and it will take you probably 45... More
